The proposal was considered by the Committee but was not agreed due to lack of time andthe proposal was forwarded to the Commission for further consideration see paragraph 3.48.

Nonetheless, the Bureau confirmed the course of action already recommended by the Commission,5 namely, to refer the general issue of use of country data by international organizations to the Committee for the Coordination of Statistical Activities for further consideration see also documents E/CN.3/2006/13 and E/CN.3/2006/30.
At the 7th meeting, on 30 May, upon the proposal of the Co-Chairman, Asda Jayanama(Thailand), the Committee decided to refer all outstanding issues related to the preparation for the substantive preparatory process andthe high-level international intergovernmental event to its first substantive session for further consideration see part one, chap. VIII, sect. B.
Noted that the concerns raised regarding the appropriate level of detail of an international classification had been determined by the need to allow for international comparison at aggregated levels as well as the need for detailed development of national classifications; the Commission also noted that a two-digit ISIC with regional adaptations could possibly serve these needs, andreferred the matter to the Expert Group for further consideration(see paras. 8, 9 and 17);
This is the approach with the closest conformity withthe existing WatSan_S1 indicator; however, the limit value can be subject to further considerations(see also below);
The Main Committee postponed further consideration of the chapter see para. 23.
The President then recalled that a draft decision on national adaptation plans was recommended by the SBI for further consideration by the COP see para. 59(c) above.
The Committee continues to hold the view that other options, including but not limited to those considered viable by the Secretary-General,should be kept open for further development and consideration see A/67/788, para. 53.
