Agreement on the Rescue of Astronauts,the Return of Astronauts and the Return of Objects Launched into Outer Space 1968.
ESA has accepted the Agreement on the Rescue of Astronauts,the Return of Astronauts and the Return of Objects Launched into Outer Space(General Assembly resolution 2345(XXII), annex, of 19 December 1967), the Convention on International Liability for Damage Caused by Space Objects(Assembly resolution 2777(XXVI), annex, of 29 November 1971) and the Registration Convention.
Information furnished in conformity with the Agreement on the Rescue of Astronauts,the Return of Astronauts and the Return of Objects Launched into Outer Space.
In all cases,victims may obtain the return of objects kept under seal as part of a criminal proceeding.
To secure evidence, or a public authority claim for confiscation of proceeds or forfeiture of objects, ora victim's claim for return of objects;
Switzerland reported that, regarding mutual assistance in criminal matters, the return of objects and assets has been governed by law since 1 February 1997.
Vehicles, installations and equipment or their component parts found in places other than their intended location shall be dealt with in accordance with article 5 of the Agreement on the Rescue of Astronauts,the Return of Astronauts and the Return of Objects Launched into Outer Space.

In addition, the Agreement on the Rescue of Astronauts,the Return of Astronauts and the Return of Objects Launched into Outer Space also seeks to regulate these matters.
In respect of the above-mentioned space objects, the United Kingdom is not the"launching State","State of registry" or"launching authority" for the purposes of(a) the Convention on International Liability for Damage Caused by Space Objects(General Assembly resolution 2777(XXVI), annex),(b) the Convention on Registration of Objects Launched into Outer Space(resolution 3235(XXIX), annex), or(c) the Agreement on the Rescue of Astronauts,the Return of Astronauts and the Return of Objects Launched into Outer Space(resolution 2345(XXII), annex), respectively.
The second is the Agreement on the Rescue of Astronauts,the Return of Astronauts and the Return of Objects Launched into Outer Space, opened for signature and entered into force in 1968.
These may include the concepts of"international responsibility for national activities" and"authorization and continuing supervision by the appropriate State Party" under article VI of the Outer Space Treaty; and the concept of the"launching authority" under the Agreement on the Rescue of Astronauts,the Return of Astronauts and the Return of Objects Launched into Outer Space resolution 2345(XXII), annex, the"Rescue Agreement.
The Agreement on the Rescue of Astronauts,the Return of Astronauts and the Return of Objects Launched into Outer Space had 91 States parties and had been signed by 24 additional States;
In respect of the above-mentioned space objects, the Kingdom of the Netherlands is not the"launching State","State of registry", or"launching authority" for the purposes of(a) the Convention on International Liability for Damages Caused by Space Objects(General Assembly resolution 2777(XXVI), annex),(b) the Convention on Registration of Objects Launched into Outer Space(resolution 3235(XXIX), annex), or(c) the Agreement on the Rescue of Astronauts,the Return of Astronauts and Return of Objects Launched into Outer Space(resolution 2345(XXII), annex), respectively.
However, individual aspects of such passage(such as international liability,rescue of astronauts, return of objects, and so forth) are either dealt with or assumed in the multilateral agreements in effect.
Concerning the broadening of the forms of reparation, restitution seems scarcely imaginable in cases of enforced disappearance, and victims may obtain the return of objects kept under seal as part of criminal proceedings.

The thirty-fifth anniversary of the entry into force of the Agreement on the Rescue of Astronauts,the Return of Astronauts and the Return of Objects Launched into Outer Space would be celebrated on 3 December.

The Libyan Arab Jamahiriya, in addition to being a party to the 1967 Outer Space Treaty, would soon also become a party to the following international instruments on outer space: the Agreement on the Rescue of Astronauts,the Return of Astronauts and the Return of Objects Launched into Outer Space; the Convention on International Liability for Damage Caused by Space Objects; and the Convention on Registration of Objects Launched into Outer Space.
