The Sectoral Initiative on the Safety of Pipelines now intends to develop a proposal for Common Regulatory Objectives(CROs) on Pipeline Safety. .
The Conveners of the ongoing sectoral initiatives will report on current activities and recent achievements, in particular, on the Explosive Environments Equipment Initiative;the Telecom Initiative; the Earth-Moving Machinery Initiative and the Initiative on the Safety of pipelines.
The Working Party will be informed about the statusof its current"sectoral initiatives", including in earth-moving machinery as well as proposals for"regulatory convergence" dialogues on safety of pipelines and on equipment for explosive environments.
