Two reclassifications are requested.
The Committee recommends acceptance of the two reclassifications. .

Furthermore, four additional posts at the D-1 level are requested in the proposed budget for 2014/15, consisting of:(a)one new post(D-1/OHCHR);(b) two reclassifications(from P-5 to D-1/Department of Field Support and UNLB); and(c) one conversion of a general temporary assistance position to a post D-1/Department of Peacekeeping Operations.
Two reclassifications are also proposed(see paras. 38 and 39 below) as well as several redeployments among sections, which are described in the Secretary-General's report A/62/512/Add.6.
A summary of these 77 new posts and two reclassifications, by functional title, follows excluding posts proposed in the 1998 revised estimates.
Two reclassifications are proposed for a Finance Officer post(from P-4 to P-5) in Treasury and for a Treasury Assistant post(General Service, from grade 6 to grade 7) in the Cashier's Section.
The Advisory Committee recommends against these two reclassifications since the request has not been backed up by workload data despite the reference to increased volume in paragraph 29F.18.
Two reclassifications are proposed for the Office of the Chief Executive Officer(CEO): the post of Deputy CEO from D-1 to D-2; and the post of Special Assistant to the CEO from P-4 to the P-5 level.

For 2011/12, the General Assembly approved two reclassifications  in the regional branch offices of the Office of the United Nations Ombudsman and Mediation Services 2 posts of Administrative Assistant, from the national General Service to the Field Service category.
The Advisory Committee trusts that in proposing the two reclassifications,  the reclassification process was adhered to and all applicable standards applied were given the importance of ensuring that all standards related to the reclassification  of posts are systematically applied whenever a request for reclassification  is made.
A total of two post reclassifications are proposed under the mission support component.
In addition to the above recommendations already approved in principle by the Board in 2002,provision is made for two new reclassifications.
Of these reclassifications, two relate to upgradings from D-1 to D-2 and seven relate to upgradings from P-5 to D-1.
The Secretary-General proposes two post reclassifications, 15 post conversions, the redeployment of 203 posts, the reassignment of two  posts and the abolishment of 80 posts.
The increase in personnel resources as compared to the 2016/17 Approved Budget reflected the regularization of a continuing function and the reclassifications of two posts.
