И сказала: старецъ вышелъ, и онъ одѣтъ въ широкую одежду; и узналъ Саулъ, что это Самуилъ, и палъ лицемъ на землю, и поклонился.
And he is covered with a robe." And Saul perceived that it was Samuel, and he bowed with his face to the ground, and prostrated himself.

И когда Самуилъ увидѣлъ Саула, Господь сказалъ ему: вотъ тотъ человѣкъ, о которомъ Я сказывалъ тебѣ;!
And when Samuel saw Saul, Jehovah said unto him, Behold, the man of whom I spake to thee!

Но Самуилъ сказалъ: какое же это блеяніе овецъ доходитъ до ушей моихъ, и ка/ с. 136/ кое мычаніе крупнаго скота слышу я?
And Samuel said, What meaneth then this bleating of the sheep in mine ears, and the lowing of the oxen which I hear?

И сказалъ Самуилъ Іессею: пошли и возьми его, ибо мы не сядемъ за столъ, пока онъ не придетъ сюда.
And Samuel said unto Jesse:"Send and fetch him; for we will not sit down till he come hither.".

Но Самуилъ сказалъ: Какъ мечъ твой женъ лишалъ дѣтей, такъ мать твоя между женами лишается сына.
And Samuel said, As thy sword hath made women childless, so shall thy mother be childless among women.

И сказалъ Самуилъ всему Израилю: вотъ я послушался словъ вашихъ во всемъ, что вы мнѣ сказали, и поставилъ надъ вами царя.
And Samuel said unto all Israel, Behold, I have hearkened unto your voice in all that ye said unto me, and have made a king over you.

Но Самуилъ сказалъ Саулу: не возвращусь съ тобою, поелику ты отвергнулъ слово Господне, и отвергнулъ тебя Господь, чтобъ не былъ царемъ надъ Израилемъ.
And Samuel said unto Saul, I will not return with thee; for thou hast rejected the word of Jehovah, and Jehovah hath rejected thee from being king over Israel.

И воззвалъ Самуилъ ко Господу, и далъ Господь громъ и дождь въ тотъ день, и весьма убоялся весь народъ Господа и Самуила..
So Samuel called unto the LORD; and the LORD sent thunder and rain that day: and all the people greatly feared the LORD and Samuel..

Самуилъ сдѣлалъ все, что говорилъ ему Господь, и пришелъ въ Виѳлеемъ; старѣйшины города сего поспѣшно вышли встрѣтить его, и сказали: съ миромъ ли идешь къ намъ?
And Samuel did that which the LORD spoke, and came to Beth-lehem. And the elders of the city came to meet him trembling, and said:"Comest thou peaceably?"?

И не видѣлъ болѣе Самуилъ Саула до самаго дня смерти своей: ибо плакалъ Самуилъ о Саулѣ, но Господь раскаялся, что поставилъ Саула царемъ надъ Израилемъ.
And Samuel came no more to see Saul until the day of his death; for Samuel mourned for Saul: and Jehovah repented that he had made Saul king over Israel.

И когда Самуилъ увидѣлъ Саула, Господь сказалъ ему: вотъ тотъ человѣкъ, о которомъ Я сказывалъ тебѣ; онъ будетъ управлять народомъ Моимъ!
And when Samuel saw Saul, Jehovah said unto him, Behold, the man of whom I spake to thee!

И спалъ Самуилъ до утра; тогда онъ отворилъ двери дóма Господня, и боялся Самуилъ объявить видѣніе сіе Илію.
