An origin declaration may be made out by the exporter when the products to which it relates are exported, or after exportation on condition that it is presented in the importing country no longer than two years after the importation of the products to which it relates.

An origin declaration or an origin declaration EUR-MED may be made out by the exporter when the products to which it relates are exported, or after exportation on condition that it is presented in the importing country at the latest two years after the importation of the products to which it relates.

Експортер, який заповнив декларацію про походження і знає або має підстави вважати, що декларація про походження містить неточну інформацію, зобов'язаний негайно письмово сповістити імпортера про будь-які зміни, що впливають на статус походження кожного товару, якого стосується декларація про походження.
An exporter that has completed an origin declaration and becomes aware or has reason to believe that the origin declaration contains incorrect information shall immediately notify the importer in writing of any change affecting the originating status of each product to which the origin declaration applies.

Проте уповноважений експортер у розумінні Статті 22 не повинен підписувати такі декларації, якщо він надав митним органам Договірної сторони-експортера письмове зобов'язання нести повну відповідальність за будь-яку декларацію про походження, у якій він зазначений, так, ніби вона підписана ним власноручно.
However, an approved exporter within the meaning of Article 22 shall not be required to sign such declarations provided that he gives the customs authorities of the exporting Contracting Party a written undertaking that he accepts full responsibility for any origin declaration which identifies him as if it had been signed in manuscript by him.
