Почувши ж Йоан у темниці про дїла Христові,дослав двох учеників своїх.

Now when John heard in the prison the works of Christ,he sent two of his disciples.

І, вставши від молитви, й прийшовши до учеників своїх, знайшов їх сплячих від смутку.

And when he rose up from prayer, and was come to his disciples, he found them sleeping for sorrow.

І як наближились до Єрусалиму, до Витфагиї й Витаниї, до гори Оливної,посилає двох учеників своїх.

When they drew near to Jerusalem, to Bethsphage and Bethany, at the Mount of Olives,he sent two of his disciples.

Простяппи руку свою на учеників своїх, рече: Ось мати моя й брати мої!

He stretched out his hand towards his disciples, and said,"Behold, my mother and my brothers!

Тими днями, як було пребагато народу й не мали що їсти,покликавши Ісус учеників своїх, рече їм:.

In those days the multitude being very great, and having nothing to eat,Jesus called his disciples unto him, and saith unto them.

І посилає двох з учеників своїх, і рече їм: Ідіть у город, і зустріне вас чоловік, несучи глек води; йдіть за ним.

He sent two of his disciples, and said to them,"Go into the city, and there you will meet a man carrying a pitcher of water. Follow him.

І сталось, як наближавсь до Внтфагиї та Витаниї, до гори, званої Оливної,післав двох з учеників своїх.

It happened, when he drew near to Bethsphage and Bethany, at the mountain that is called Olivet,he sent two of his disciples.

І посилає двох з учеників своїх, і рече їм: Ідіть у город, і зустріне вас чоловік, несучи глек води; йдіть за ним.

And he sendeth forth two of his disciples, and saith unto them, Go ye into the city, and there shall meet you a man bearing a pitcher of water: follow him.

Тими днями, як було пребагато народу й не мали що їсти,покликавши Ісус учеників своїх, рече їм:.

In those days, when there was a very great multitude, and they had nothing to eat,Jesus called his disciples to himself, and said to them.

Та й сам Господь наш Ісус Христос, навчаючи учеників своїх молитись,- не опріснока минувшого,- але хліба нашого щоденного просити звелів».

In the Lord's prayer Jesus himself taught his disciples how to pray, saying,“Our Father who art in heaven,………. give us this day our daily bread………”.

І як наближились до Єрусалиму, до Витфагиї й Витаниї, до гори Оливної,посилає двох учеників своїх.

And when they came nigh to Jerusalem, unto Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount of Olives,he sendeth forth two of his disciples.

І вийшов Ісус і ученики Його у села Кесариї Филипової,і дорогою питав учеників своїх, глаголючи їм: Хто я,- кажуть люде?

Jesus went out, with his disciples, into the villages of Caesarea Philippi.On the way he asked his disciples,"Who do men say that I am?"?

Тодї приходить до учеників своїх, і рече їм: Спіть уже й спочивайте ось настиг час, і Син чоловічий буде виданий у руки грішникам.

Then he came to his disciples, and said to them,"Sleep on now, and take your rest. Behold, the hour is at hand, and the Son of Man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.

І вийшов Ісус і ученики Його у села Кесариї Филипової,і дорогою питав учеників своїх, глаголючи їм: Хто я,- кажуть люде?

And Jesus went out, and his disciples, into the towns of Caesarea Philippi:and by the way he asked his disciples, saying unto them, Whom do men say that I am?

Навчав бо учеників своїх, і глаголав їм; Що Син чоловічий буде виданий у руки чоловічі, і вбють Його, і вбитий, Він третього дня воскресне.

For he taught his disciples, and said unto them, The Son of man is delivered into the hands of men, and they shall kill him; and after that he is killed, he shall rise the third day.

Він же, обернувшись і поглянувши на учеників своїх, докорив Петру, глаголючи: Іди геть, сатано: бо мислиш не про Боже, а про чоловіче.

But when he had turned about and looked on his disciples, he rebuked Peter, saying, Get thee behind me, Satan: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but the things that be of men.

Навчав бо учеників своїх, і глаголав їм; Що Син чоловічий буде виданий у руки чоловічі, і вбють Його, і вбитий, Він третього дня воскресне.

For he was teaching his disciples, and said to them,"The Son of Man is being handed over to the hands of men, and they will kill him; and when he is killed, on the third day he will rise again.".

І сталось, як Він молив ся на одному місці, і як перестав, сказав один з учеників до Него: Господи, навчи нас молитись,як і Йоан навчив учеників своїх.

It happened, that when he finished praying in a certain place, one of his disciples said to him,"Lord, teach us to pray,just as John also taught his disciples.".

І висилають до Него учеників своїх з Іродиянами, говорячи: Учителю, знаємо, що ти правдивий вси, й на путь Божий правдою наставляєш, і нї про кого не дбаєш; бо не дивиш ся на лице людей.

They sent their disciples to him, along with the Herodians, saying,"Teacher, we know that you are honest, and teach the way of God in truth, no matter whom you teach, for you aren't partial to anyone.

І сталось, як Він молив ся на одному місці, і як перестав, сказав один з учеників до Него: Господи, навчи нас молитись,як і Йоан навчив учеників своїх.

And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray,as John also taught his disciples.

Ісус же, покликавши учеників своїх, рече: Жаль менї людей, бо вже вони три днї пробувають зо мною, й не мають що їсти; а не хочу відпустити їх голодних, щоб не помлїли на дорозі.

Jesus summoned his disciples and said,"I have compassion on the multitude, because they continue with me now three days and have nothing to eat. I don't want to send them away fasting, or they might faint on the way.".

Своїм прикладом Господь засвідчив не лише свою любов до учеників своїх, але й навчив їхньому смиренню, щоб вони не вважали за приниження для себе служити ближньому.

By this example, the Lord demonstrated not only His love for His disciples but also taught them humility, that is, not to consider it beneath oneself to serve someone even though he may be of lesser status.

Ісус же, покликавши учеників своїх, рече: Жаль менї людей, бо вже вони три днї пробувають зо мною, й не мають що їсти; а не хочу відпустити їх голодних, щоб не помлїли на дорозі.

Then Jesus called his disciples unto him, and said, I have compassion on the multitude, because they continue with me now three days, and have nothing to eat: and I will not send them away fasting, lest they faint in the way.

І висилають до Него учеників своїх з Іродиянами, говорячи: Учителю, знаємо, що ти правдивий вси, й на путь Божий правдою наставляєш, і нї про кого не дбаєш; бо не дивиш ся на лице людей.

And they sent out unto him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Master, we know that thou art true, and teachest the way of God in truth, neither carest thou for any man: for thou regardest not the person of men.

Зійшов же на гору Ісус, і сидїв там з учениками своїми.

Jesus went up into the mountain, and he sat there with his disciples.

Як же слухав увесь народ, рече ученикам своїм:.

Then in the audience of all the people he said unto his disciples.

Се промовивши Ісус, вийшов з учениками своїми за потік Кедрон, де був сад, у котрий ввійшов Він і ученики Його.

When Jesus had spoken these words, he went out with his disciples over the brook Kidron, where there was a garden, into which he and his disciples entered.
