The measures provided for in this Directive should apply to all board systems in  the Member States.
Before 13 February 2005,the Commission shall review the measures provided for in this Directive to take into account, as necessary, new scientific evidence.

(12) The measures provided for in this Directive are in  accordance with the opinion of the Committee instituted by Article 17 of Council Directive  89/391/EEC of 12 June 1989 on the introduction of measures  to encourage improvements in  the safety and health of workers at work(6).
The measures provided for in this Directive should therefore apply to listed companies, which are defined as companies incorporated in  a Member State whose securities are admitted to trading on a regulated market within the meaning of Article 4(1)(14) of Directive  2004/39/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 21 April 2004 on markets in  financial instruments,[30] in  one or more Member States.
The measure provided for in this Directive is not an adaptation within the meaning of Article 57 of the 2003 Act of Accession.
Art 4(1) of the Directive  requires member states to ensure that trade secret holders are entitled to apply for  the measures,  procedures and remedies provided for in this Directive in order to prevent, or obtain redress for,  the unlawful acquisition, use or disclosure of their trade secret.
As soon as a Member State has brought into force the laws, regulations andadministrative provisions necessary to comply with this Directive and has taken the measures provided for in Article 14,this Directive,  not Directive  80/778/EEC, shall apply to the quality of water intended for  human consumption in  that Member State.
