A readmission application must be replied to in writing.

After Moldova has given a positive reply to the readmission application, the Requesting Member State issues the person whose readmission  has been accepted the EU standard travel document for expulsion purposes[1].
If a person has been apprehended in the border region of the requesting State after illegally crossing the border coming directly from the territory of the requested State,the requesting State may submit a readmission application within 2 working days following such person's apprehension(accelerated procedure).
After Georgia has given a positive reply to the readmission application, it shall immediately and no later than within 3 working days, issue a travel document for expulsion purposes to the person whose readmission  has been accepted.

If the person to be readmitted is in possession of a valid travel document or identity card,the transfer of such person can take place without the Requesting State having to submit a readmission application or written communication, as referred to in Article 11(1), to the competent authority of the Requested State.
After Bosnia andHerzegovina has given a positive reply to the readmission application, the competent Diplomatic Mission or Consular Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina shall immediately and not later than within three working days, issue the travel document required for the return of the person to be readmitted, with a validity of 20 days.
Without prejudice to paragraph 2, if a person has been apprehended in the border region, including airports, of the Requesting State after illegally crossing the border coming directly from the territory of the Requested State,the Requesting State may submit a readmission application within two working days following this person's apprehension(accelerated procedure).
After the Requested Member State has given a positive reply to the readmission application, the competent Diplomatic Mission or Consular Office of that Member State shall immediately and not later than within three working days, issue the travel document required for the return of the person to be readmitted, with a validity of at least three months.
Without prejudice to paragraph 2, if a person has been apprehended in the border region of the requesting State within 48 hours from illegally crossing of the State border of that person(including seaports and airports) directly from the territory of the requested State,the requesting State may submit a readmission application within two days following this persons apprehension(accelerated procedure).
After the Requested Member State has given a positive reply to the readmission application, the competent Diplomatic Mission or Consular Office of that Member State shall immediately and not later than within three working days, issue the travel document required for the return of the person to be readmitted, with a validity of at least three months.
Without prejudice to paragraph 2, if a person has been apprehended immediately at the state borders or their vicinity, including border crossing points of the Requesting State after illegally crossing the border coming directly from the territory of the Requested State,the Requesting State may submit a readmission application within two working days following this person's apprehension(accelerated procedure).
The readmission application may be replaced by a written communication to the competent authority of the requested State within a reasonable time period prior to the return of the person concerned provided that the person to be readmitted is in possession of a valid travel document and, where applicable, a valid visa or residence authorisation of the requested State.
Montenegro shall also readmit, upon application  by a Member State, former nationals of the former Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia who have acquired no other nationality and whose place of birth, and place of permanent residence on 27 April 1992, was in the territory of Montenegro,provided that the latter can be confirmed by the Montenegrin authorities at the date of the submission of the readmission application.
After Azerbaijan has given a positive reply to the readmission application, the competent diplomatic or consular representation of Azerbaijan shall, irrespective of the will of the person to be readmitted, free of charge and not later than within five working days, issue the travel document required for the return of the person to be readmitted with a period of validity of 150 days.
If the person to be readmitted is in possession of a valid travel document or identity card and, in the case of third country nationals or stateless persons, a valid visa or residence permit of the Requested State,the transfer of such person can take place without the Requesting State having to submit a readmission application or written notification referred to in Article 12(1) to the competent authority of the Requested State.
