This Union financial contribution shall not exceed 95% of the eligible costs.

This Decision provides for a Union financial contribution for 2010 towards expenditure incurred by Member States for 2010 in implementing certain projects on monitoring and control systems applicable to the common fisheries policy(CFP), as referred to in Article 8(a) of Regulation(EC) No 861/2006.
The entities referred to in paragraph 1 shall not be entitled to receive Union financial contributions, except where it is essential for the COSME programme, in particular in terms of competitiveness and access to markets for Union enterprises.
Where appropriate, Union financial contribution should also be provided to Member States in the form of grants, in particular for capacity-building purposes and supporting feasibility and pilot studies, and in accordance with Regulation(EU, Euratom) No 966/2012 of the European Parliament and of the Council1a.
