The Belgrade Center for Human Rights  presented the Annual Report“The Right to Asylum in the Republic of Serbia 2017”.

The right to asylum is individual- it's linked to  you personally, not to  your country.

France, backed by Germany,calls for“a unified system for the right to asylum” and a common migratory policy for the entire 28-member EU.
Whoever has the right to asylum must be welcome in Europe, not just in Italy, despite the EU's Dublin regime.
Regarding the situation in our country, Serbia is still a transit country that is faced with permanent push backs,or illegal returns of refugees across the border where their right to asylum is denied.
How do we protect the right to asylum while responding to  the legitimate demand of control of migratory flows?
Stefanovic said that Serbia is behaving"humanely, responsibly, respects international regulations,freedom of movement, the right to asylum, and the right to  protection- but is asking Europe what to  do from this point on.".

The detainees include those who have recently entered the US illegally, those who have overstayed their visas, those who have lived undocumented in the country for many years, andthose who are exercising their legal right to asylum.
