Raja Raja Varma or A R. Rajaraja Varma(Malayalam: എ. ആർ. രാജരാജവർമ്മ)(1863- 1918) was an Indian poet, grammatician and Professor of Oriental Languages at Maharaja's College(present University College), Trivandrum.
Several assassination bids were made on his life. In 1728 an assassination attempt was made on the life of his sister and her son, the later Dharma Raja.[5] However it was in 1729,when the Rajah Rama Varma, died that actual war was declared.
Cheriyoor is the ancestral home of famous Malayalam-language poet andtranslator Kerala Varma Valiya Koil Thampuran(February 19, 1845- 1914). His father Narayanan Namboothiri was a member of Mullappally illam in Cheriyoor.

Kilimanoor Palace is a palace located in Kilimanoor, in the Indian state of Kerala. It is the birthplace of painter Raja Ravi Varma and Raghava Varma, the father of king Marthanda Varma.[1].
When Rama Varma XIV died in August 1888, his brother Kerala Varma succeeded him. Kerala Varma was acclaimed for his proficiency in the English language. Kerala Varma was knighted even before his accession to the throne.
The palace is maintained by the Kerala StateDepartment of Archaeology and contains exhibits that belonged to the Palace and its former occupant, the Travancore Maharaja Marthanda Varma.
He is married to the former Malayalam actress Samyuktha Varma, on 21 November 2002 who co-starred with him in Mazha, Madhuranombarakkattu and Meghamalhar.[10][11] The couple has a son Daksh Dharmik, born on 14 September 2006.
Rukmini Varma is a cousin of Shreekumar Varma. She was married to the late Devi Prasad Varma and has two sons, Venugopal Varma and Jaygopal Varma. Her brother Balagopal Varma is the current holder of the title of Elayaraja of Travancore.
Raja Kesavadas(1745-1799; Sanskrit keśavadāsa) was the Dewan of Travancore during the reign ofDharma Raja Karthika Thirunal Rama Varma. He is well known for his planning skills and administrative acumen. He was the master mind in developing the Alappuzha town.
