I have the honour to enclose herewith a copy of the letter dated14 October 2014 addressed to you by Dervis Eroglu, President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus(see enclosure).

وإذا كان السيد إردوغان يريد حقا أن يقوم بدور بنَّاء و" يدعم التوصل إلى حل في أقرب وقت ممكن"، كما زعم في كلمته، فكل مايحتاجه هو أن يشجع السيد إيروغلو، زعيم طائفة القبارصة الاتراك، على وقف التراجع عن نقاط الالتقاء التي تم التوصل إليها بالفعل والعمل استنادا إلى الأساس المتفق عليه لإيجاد حل للمشكلة القبرصيةMr. Christofias and the new Turkish Cypriot leader, Dervis Eroglu, also made statements at that juncture, recognizing that time was not on the side of a settlement and committing themselves to the process of negotiating a mutually beneficial settlement.

هذا هو السبب في أننا نؤيد بقوة المحادثات الجارية حاليا تحترعاية الأمم المتحدة بين كريستوفياس رئيس قبرص والسيد ايروغلو، تلك المحادثات التي تهدف إلى إعادة توحيد قبرص كاتحاد بمنطقتين وطائفتين وإنهاء الاحتلال التركي غير الشرعي وفقا لقرارات الأمم المتحدة ولقانون الاتحاد الأوروبي
