Appropriate phase-out periods for disposal,storage and use of existing stocks of biocidal products should be foreseen in such cases.
Where a Member State withdraws or amends an authorisation or does not renew it, it may grant a grace period for the disposal, storage,placing on the market and use of existing stocks.
Disposal, storage and use of existing stocks of biocidal products which do not fulfil the requirement of the first subparagraph is allowed until 1 January 2015.
The period of grace shall not exceed six months for the placing on the market andan additional maximum period of twelve months for the disposal, storage, and use of existing stocks of the biocidal products concerned.
A period of grace for disposal, storage,placing on the market and use of existing stocks in accordance with the provisions of Article 4(6) of Directive 91/414/EEC has to be provided.
Where the Commission removes the entry of an active substance from Annex I, it may grant a period of grace for the disposal, storage,placing on the market and use of existing stocks of biocidal products containing that active substance.

When cancelling the authorisation, the Member State may grant a period of grace for the disposal or for the storage,marketing and use of existing stocks, of a length in accordance with the reason for the cancellation without prejudice to any period provided for by decision taken pursuant to Directive 76/769/EEC or in connection with paragraph 1a.

Any period of grace for disposal, storage,placing on the market and use of existing stocks of plant protection products containing acephate allowed by Member States, in accordance with Article 4(6) of Directive 91/414/EEC should be limited to a period no longer than 12 months to allow existing stocks to be used in no more than one further growing season.
Any period of grace for disposal, storage,placing on the market and use of existing stocks of plant protection products containing zineb allowed by Member State, in accordance with the provisions of Article 4(6) of Directive 91/414/EEC should be limited to a period no longer than 18 months to allow existing stocks to be used in no more than one further growing season.
Any period of grace for disposal, storage,placing on the market and use of existing stocks of plant-protection products containing permethrin allowed by Member States, in accordance with the provisions of Article 4(6) of Directive 91/414/EEC should be limited to a period no longer than 18 months to allow existing stocks to be used in no more than one further growing season.
