(ct) Samples shall be taken on output materials, to verify that they comply with the component material specifications for compost and digestate laid down in CMC 3 and CMC 5 in Annex II, and that the properties of the output material does not jeopardise the CE marked fertilising product's compliance with the relevant requirements in Annex I.
When adopting delegated acts in accordance with paragraph 1,the Commission may amend the component material categories set out in Annex II in order to add animal by-products within the meaning of Regulation(EC) No 1069/2009 only where an end point in the manufacturing chain has been determined for such products in accordance with the procedures laid down in that Regulation.
