The submission to the Council of the proposed draft declaration on the right of peoples and individuals to international solidarity, or simply the right to international solidarity henceforth, marks a milestone for the mandate of human rights and international solidarity.
Decided that, in order to obtain inputs from as many Member States as possible on the proposed draft declaration, the Independent Expert would convene regional consultations and/or workshops, and requested OHCHR to assist the Independent Expert in organizing those regional consultations and/or workshops;
