اس کے والدین پریشان ہوتے تھے

They hypocrites are apprehensive lest a surah be revealed about them, informing them of what is in their hearts. Say,"Mock[as you wish]; indeed, Allah will expose that which you fear.".

منافق ڈرتے ہیں کہ ان پر کوئی سورة ایسی اترے جو ان کے دلوں کی چھپی جتادے تم فرماؤ ہنسے جاؤ اللہ کو ضرور ظاہر کرنا ہے جس کا تمہیں ڈر ہے

And in his heart Moses became apprehensive.

اور موسیٰؑ اپنے دل میں ڈر گیا

So Moses felt apprehensive within himself.

پھر موسیٰ نے اپنے دل میں ڈر محسوس کیا

Who fear their Lord unseen, while they are of the Hour apprehensive.

جو بن دیکھے اپنے پروردگار سے ڈرتے ہیں اور قیامت کا بھی خوف رکھتے ہیں

And I said to you:‘Do not be apprehensive, nor should you fear them.

تب میں نے تُمکو کہا کہ خوفزدہ مت ہو اور نہ اُن سے ڈرو

Who fear their Lord unseen, while they are of the Hour apprehensive.

جو بے دیکھے اپنے پروردگار سے ڈرتے ہیں نیز جو قیامت سے بھی خوف زدہ رہتے ہیں

Or that He will not seize them when they are apprehensive of the impending calamity? Surely your Lord is Most Compassionate, Most Merciful.

یا انہیں ان کے خوف زدہ ہونے پر پکڑ لے، تو بیشک تمہارا رب بڑا شفیق نہایت مہربان ہے

Who fear their Lord unseen, while they are of the Hour apprehensive.

جو لوگ اپنے رب سے نادیدہ ڈرتے ہیں اور جو قیامت(کی ہولناکیوں) سے خائف رہتے ہیں

Have you not regarded those who left their homes in thousands, apprehensive of death, whereupon Allah said to them,‘Die,' then He revived them?

اے محبوب کیا تم نے نہ دیکھا تھا انہیں، جو اپنے گھروں سے نکلے اور وہ ہزاروں تھے موت کے ڈر سے، تو اللہ نے ان سے فرمایا: مرجاؤ!

He knows that which is before them and that which is behind them, and they do not intercede except for someone He approves of,and they are apprehensive for the fear of Him.

وہ جانتا ہے جو ان کے آگے اور جو ان کے پیچھے ہے اور وہ شفاعت بھی نہیں کرتے مگر اسی کے لیے جس سے وہخوش ہو اور وہ اس کی ہیبت سے ڈرتے ہیں

کیا تم نے ان لوگوں کو نہیں دیکھا، جو ہزاروں کی تعداد میں ہونے کے باوجود، موت کے ڈر سے، اپنے گھروں سے بھاگ کھڑے ہوئے تو اللہ نے ان کو کہا کہ جاؤ مر جاؤ!

منافق ڈرتے ہیں کہ ان پر کوئی سورة ایسی اترے جو ان کے دلوں کی چھپی جتادے تم فرماؤ ہنسے جاؤ اللہ کو ضرور ظاہر کرنا ہے جس کا تمہیں ڈر ہے

They will say,‘Indeed, aforetime, we used to be apprehensive about our families.

یہ کہیں گے کہ ہم پہلے اپنے گھر والوں میں ڈرتے ہوئے زندگی بسر کرتے تھے

The next morning, when he was walking in the city, apprehensive, and watchful, and the man who had sought his help the day before cried out to him again for help. Moses said to him,"You are clearly a misguided man.".

پھر شہر میں ڈرتا انتظار کرتا ہوا صبح کو گیا پھر وہی شخص جس نے کل اس سے مدد مانگی تھی اسے پکار رہا ہے موسیٰ نے اس سے کہا کہ بے شک تو صریح گمراہ ہے

We offered the Trust to the heavens, and the earth, and the mountains; but they refused to bear it,and were apprehensive of it; but the human being accepted it. He was unfair and ignorant.

ہم نے(بار) امانت کو آسمانوں اور زمین پر پیش کیا توانہوں نے اس کے اٹھانے سے انکار کیا اور اس سے ڈر گئے۔ اور انسان نے اس کو اٹھا لیا۔ بےشک وہ ظالم اور جاہل تھا

اس کی جلدی تووہی کرتے ہیں جو اس پر ایمان نہیں رکھتے اورجو ایمان رکھتے ہیں وہ اس سے ڈر رہے ہیں اور جانتے ہیں کہ وہ برحقہے خبردار بے شک جو لوگ قیامت کے بارہ میں جھگڑا کرتے ہیں وہ پرلے درجے کی گمراہی میں ہیں

Or that of a rainstorm from the sky, wherein is darkness, thunder and lightning:they put their fingers in their ears due to the thunderclaps, apprehensive of death; and Allah besieges the faithless.

یا ان کی مثال اس بارش کی سی ہے جو آسمان سے برس رہی ہے جس میں اندھیریاں ہیں اورگرج اور چمک(بھی) ہے تو وہ کڑک کے باعث موت کے ڈر سے اپنے کانوں میں انگلیاں ٹھونس لیتے ہیں، اور اللہ کافروں کو گھیرے ہوئے ہے

جو لوگ اس پر ایمان نہیں رکھتے تو اس کے لئے جلدی کرتے ہیں اورجو ایمان رکھتے ہیں وہ اس سے ڈرتے ہیں اور جا نتے ہیں کہ وہ برحقہے آگاہ رہو جو قیامت کے بارے میں شک کرتے ہیں(تکرار کرتے ہیں) وہ بڑی کھلی گمراہی میں ہیں

یہ منافق ڈر رہے ہیں کہ کہیں مسلمانوں پر کوئی ایسی سورت نازل نہ ہو جائے جو ان کے دلوں کے بھید کھول کر رکھ دے اے نبیؐ، ان سے کہو،"اور مذاق اڑاؤ، اللہ اُس چیز کو کھول دینے والا ہے جس کے کھل جانے سے تم ڈرتے ہو

ہم نے اس امانت کو آسمانوں اور زمین اور پہاڑوں کے سامنے پیش کیا تووہ اُسے اٹھانے کے لیے تیار نہ ہوئے اور اس سے ڈر گئے، مگر انسان نے اسے اٹھا لیا، بے شک وہ بڑا ظالم اور جاہل ہے

منافق ڈرتے رہتے ہیں کہ ان(کے پیغمبر) پر کہیں کوئی ایسی سورت(نہ) اُتر آئے کہ ان کے دل کی باتوں کو ان(مسلمانوں) پر ظاہر کر دے۔ کہہ دو کہ ہنسی کئے جاؤ۔ جس بات سے تم ڈرتے ہو خدا اس کو ضرور ظاہر کردے گا

Go forth, O swift Angels, to a nation which has been convulsed and torn apart, to a terrible people, after whom there is no other,to a nation apprehensive and downtrodden, whose land the rivers have spoiled.

نکل جاؤ, اے سوئفٹ فرشتوں, ایک قوم سے convulsed اور علاوہ پھاڑ دیا گیا ہے جس کے لیے, ایک خوفناک لوگوں سے, جن کے بعد کوئی دوسرا نہیں ہے,ایک قوم ڈر اور دلتوں کے لیے, جن کے ملک دریاؤں خراب کر دیا ہے

کیا تم نے انہیں نہیں دیکھا جو ہزاروں کی تعداد میں تھے اور موت کے ڈر کے مارے اپنے گھروں سے نکل کھڑے ہوئے تھے۔ اللہ تعالیٰ نے انہیں فرمایا مرجاؤ، پھر انہیں زنده کردیا بے شک اللہ تعالیٰ لوگوں پر بڑا فضل واﻻ ہے، لیکن اکثر لوگ ناشکرے ہیں

اس کی جلدی انہیں پڑی ہے جو اسے نہیں مانتے اور جو اس پر یقین رکھتےہیں وه تو اس سے ڈر رہے ہیں انہیں اس کے حق ہونے کا پورا علم ہے۔ یاد رکھو جو لوگ قیامت کے معاملہ میں لڑ جھگڑ رہے ہیں، وه دور کی گمراہی میں پڑے ہوئے ہیں

جو لوگ اس پر ایمان نہیں رکھتے وہ اس کے لئے جلدی کر رہےہیں۔ اور جو مومن ہیں وہ اس سے ڈرتے ہیں۔ اور جانتے ہیں کہ وہ برحق ہے۔ دیکھو جو لوگ قیامت میں جھگڑتے ہیں وہ پرلے درجے کی گمراہی میں ہیں

اس کی جلدی مچارہے ہیں وہ جو اس پر ایمان نہیں رکھتے اورجنہیں اس پر ایمان ہے وہ اس سے ڈر رہے ہیں اورجانتے ہیں کہ بیشک وہ حق ہے، سنتے ہو بیشک جو قیامت میں شک کرتے ہیں ضرور دُور کی گمراہی میں ہیں

Is he who supplicates in the watches of the night, prostrating and standing, apprehensive of the Hereafter and expecting the mercy of his Lord…? Say,‘Are those who know equal to those who do not know?' Only those who possess intellect take admonition.

کیا وہ جسے فرمانبرداری میں رات کی گھڑیاں گزریں سجود میں اور قیام میں آخرت سے ڈرتا اور اپنے رب کی رحمت کی آس لگائے کیا وہ نافرمانوں جیسا ہو جائے گا تم فرماؤ کیا برابر ہیں جاننے والے اور انجان، نصیحت تو وہی مانتے ہیں جو عقل والے ہیں
