Say,"Who rescues you from the darknesses of the land and sea[when] you call upon Him imploring[aloud] and privately,'If He should save us from this[crisis], we will surely be among the thankful.'".
ان سے کہئے کہ خشکی اور تری کی تاریکیوں سے کون نجات دیتا ہے جسے تم گڑگڑا کر اور خفیہ طریقہ سے آواز دیتے ہو کہ اگر اس مصیبت سے نجات دے دے گا تو ہم شکر گزار بن جائیں گے

All praise unto Allah, who created the heavens and the earth and made the darknesses and the light, yet those who disbelieve equalise others with their Lord.
ہر طرح کی تعریف خدا ہی کو سزاوار ہے جس نے آسمانوں اور زمین کو پیدا کیا اور اندھیرا اور روشنی بنائی پھر بھی کافر(اور چیزوں کو) خدا کے برابر ٹھیراتے ہیں

And no grain in the darknesses of the earth, or anything green or dry, but it is all recorded in a book manifest.

بھلا کون ہے جو تمہیں جنگل اور دریا کے اندھیروں میں راستہ بتاتاہے اور اپنی رحمت سے پہلے کون خوشخبری کی ہوائیں چلاتا ہے کیا الله کے ساتھ کوئی اور معبود ہے الله ان کے شرک کرنے سے بہت بلند ہے!

Say thou: who delivereth you from the darknesses of the land and the sea, when ye cry unto Him in humility and in secrecy: if He delivered us from this, we shall surely be of the thankful?
کہو بھلا تم کو جنگلوں اور دریاؤں کے اندھیروں سے کون مخلصی دیتا ہے(جب) کہ تم اسے عاجزی اور نیاز پنہانی سے پکارتے ہو(اور کہتے ہو) اگر خدا ہم کو اس(تنگی) سے نجات بخشے تو ہم اس کے بہت شکر گزار ہوں?

Alif. Lam. Ra. This is a Book which We have sent down unto thee, that thou mayest bring the mankind forth from the darknesses unto the light, by the command of their Lord: unto the path of the Mighty, the Praiseworthy.
الرٰ! یہ عالی شان کتاب ہم نے آپ کی طرف اتاری ہے کہ آپ لوگوں کو اندھیروں سے اجالے کی طرف ﻻئیں، ان کے پروردگار کے حکم سے، زبردست اور تعریفوں والے اللہ کی طرف

Say: Who is it that delivereth you from the darknesses of land and sea, when ye call upon him in humility and silently(from the depth of your inner heart):“If He only delivers us from these(dangers) we shall truly be grateful”?
آپ کہہ دیں تمہیں خشکی اور دریا کے اندھیروں سے کون بچاتا ہے؟(اس وقت)تم اس کو گڑ گڑا کر اور چپکے چپکے پکارتے ہو(اور کہتے ہو)کہ اگر ہمیں ا س سے بچا لے تو ہم شکر ادا کرنے والوں سے ہوں گے(۶۳)?

ساری تعریف اس اللہ کے لئے ہے جس نے آسمانوں اور زمین کو پیدا کیا ہے اور تاریکیوں اور نور کو مقرر کیا ہے اس کے بعد بھی کفر اختیار کرنے والے دوسروں کو اس کے برابر قرار دیتے ہیں

Like unto a rain--laden cloud from heaven, wherein are darknesses and thunder and lightening. They so put their fingers in their ears because of the thunder-claps, guarding against death, and Allah is Encompasser of the infidels.
یا آسمانی برسات کی طرح جس میں اندھیریاں اور گرج اور بجلی ہو، موت سے ڈر کر کڑاکے کی وجہ سے اپنی انگلیاں اپنے کانوں میں ڈال لیتے ہیں۔ اور اللہ تعالیٰ کافروں کو گھیرنے واﻻ ہے

اور وه ایسا ہے جس نے تمہارے لئے ستاروں کو پیدا کیا، تاکہ تم ان کے ذریعہ سے اندھیروں میں، خشکی میں اور دریا میں بھی راستہ معلوم کرسکو۔ بےشک ہم نے دﻻئل خوب کھول کھول کر بیان کردیئے ہیں ان لوگوں کے لئے جو خبر رکھتے ہیں

Say thou: who delivereth you from the darknesses of the land and the sea, when ye cry unto Him in humility and in secrecy: if He delivered us from this, we shall surely be of the thankful?
آپ(ان سے دریافت) فرمائیں کہ بیابان اور دریا کی تاریکیوں سے تمہیں کون نجات دیتا ہے؟(اس وقت تو) تم گڑگڑا کر(بھی) اور چپکے چپکے(بھی) اسی کو پکارتے ہو کہ اگر وہ ہمیں اس(مصیبت) سے نجات دے دے تو ہم ضرور شکر گزاروں میں سے ہو جائیں گے،?

And assuredly We sent Musa with our signs saying: bring thy people forth from the darknesses unto the light, and remind them of the annals of Allah. Verily therein are signs for everyone patient, and thankful.
(یاد رکھو جب کہ) ہم نے موسیٰ کو اپنی نشانیاں دے کر بھیجا کہ تو اپنی قوم کو اندھیروں سے روشنی میں نکال اور انہیں اللہ کے احسانات یاد دﻻ۔ اس میں نشانیاں ہیں ہر ایک صبر شکر کرنے والے کے لئے

Allah is the Patron of those who believe; He bringeth them forth from darknesses into the light; And, for those who disbelieve, the devils are their patrons; they bring them forth from the light into darknesses. These are the fellows of Fire, therein shall be abiders.
اللہ والی ہے مسلمانوں کا انہیں اندھیریوں سے نور کی طرف نکلتا ہے، اور کافروں کے حمایتی شیطان ہیں وہ انہیں نور سے اندھیریوں کی طرف نکالتے ہیں یہی لوگ دوزخ والے ہیں انہیں ہمیشہ اس میں رہنا

الله ایمان والوں کا مددگار ہے اور انہیں اندھیروں سے روشنی کی طرف نکالتا ہے اور جو لوگ کافر ہیں ان کے دوست شیطان ہیں انہیں روشنی سے اندھیروں کی طرف نکالتے ہیں یہی لوگ دوزخ میں رہنے والے ہیں وہ اس میں ہمیشہ رہیں گے
