Surely they took the satans for friends instead of Allah, and reckon that they have attained to Guidance(Hidayet).
انہوں نے پکڑے شیطان رفیق اﷲ چھوڑ کر، اور سمجھتے ہیں کہ وہ راہ پر ہیں

For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which will be revealed in us.
کیونکہ میری دانست میں اس زمانہ کے دکھ درد اس لائق نہیں کہ اس جلال کے مقابل ہوسکیں جو ہم پر ظاہر ہونے والا ہے

And if ye would count the favour of Allah ye cannot reckon it. Lo! Allah is indeed Forgiving, Merciful.
اگر تم اللہ کی نعمتوں کو گننا چاہو تو گن نہیں سکتے، حقیقت یہ ہے کہ وہ بڑا ہی درگزر کرنے والا اور رحیم ہے

And reckon not those who are killed in Allah's way as dead; nay, they are alive(and) are provided sustenance from their Lord(3:169).
اور جو اللہ کی راہ میں مارے جائیں انہیں مردہ گمان نہ کرو بلکہ وہ زندہ ہیں، بلکہ وہ اپنے رب کے پاس زندہ ہیں رزق پاتے ہیں۔‘‘( آل عمران: ۱۶۹

Or(even) did the ones in whose hearts is sickness reckon that Allah would never bring out their malice?
جن کے دلوں میں بیماری ہے کیا انہوں نے یہ خیال کر رکھا ہے کہ اللہ ان کے کینوں کو ہرگز ظاہر نہیں کرے گا؟?

And reckon not those who are killed in Allah's way as dead; nay, they are alive(and) are provided sustenance from their Lord;
اور جو لوگ اللہ کی راہ میں قتل کئے جائیں انہیں ہرگز مردہ خیال(بھی) نہ کرنا، بلکہ وہ اپنے ربّ کے حضور زندہ ہیں انہیں(جنت کی نعمتوں کا) رزق دیا جاتا ہے

And when the evildoers see the Fire of Hell they will reckon it is there they shall fall. They shall find no escape from it.
سارے مجرم اُس روز آگ دیکھیں گے اورسمجھ لیں گے کہ اب انہیں اس میں گرنا ہے اور وہ اس سے بچنے کے لیے کوئی جائے پناہ نہ پائیں گے
