The Working Group mandated the Bureau to prepare a draft decision on the work programme for 2009-2011.
Having regard to decision I/11 on procedures for the preparation, adoption andmonitoring of work programmes, the Working Group of the Parties at its ninth meeting mandated the Bureau to prepare a draft decision on the work programme for 2009- 2011 ECE/MP. PP/WG.1/2008/2, para. 99.
It further agreed to mandate the Bureau to prepare a draft declaration for consideration for adoption at this segment.
In view of its mandate to"make such proposals and recommendations to the Meeting of the Parties as it considers necessary for the achievement of the purposes of the Convention"(ECE/MP. PP/2/Add.15, para. 2(d)), at its sixteenth meeting(Geneva, 19- 21 June 2013),the Working Group of the Parties to the Convention requested the Bureau to prepare a draft decision on public participation in decision-making(ECE/MP. PP/WG.1/2013/2, para. 14) for its consideration, revision and approval and subsequent submission to the Meeting of the Parties.
The Working Group requested the Bureau to prepare a draft work plan for its seventh meeting based on these proposals.
It was noted that at its eighth meeting(31 October- 2 November 2007),the Working Group had requested the Bureau to prepare a draft decision on future work on public participation in international forums.

WAT/15/Add.1, annex IV, para. 3.
The Bureau was invited to prepare a draft decision on the adoption of the draft guidance.
Following some minor changes to the structure, it endorsed the elements and mandated the Bureau and secretariat to prepare a draft of an annotated provisional agenda for consideration at its next meeting.
