Reaffirms its resolution 1514(XV) and all other resolutions and decisions on decolonization, including its resolution 55/146,by which it declared the  period 2001-2010 the  Second International Decade for the  Eradication of Colonialism, and calls upon the administering Powers, in accordance with those resolutions, to take all necessary steps to enable the  peoples of the  Non-Self-Governing Territories concerned to exercise fully as soon as possible their right to self-determination, including independence;
Calls upon the administering Powers, in cooperation with the  respective territorial Governments, to continue to take all necessary measures to counter problems related to drug trafficking, money laundering and other offences;
Calls upon the administering Powers to ensure that foreign economic activities in the  Non-Self-Governing Territories under their administration are directed to assist the  peoples of those Territories in the  exercise of their right to self-determination;
Calls upon the administering Powers to ensure that no activity of foreign economic and other interests in the  Non-Self-Governing Territories under their administration hinders the  peoples of those Territories from exercising their right to self-determination and independence;
Calls upon the administering Powers to ensure that the  exploitation of the  marine and other natural resources in the  Non-Self-Governing Territories under their administration is not in violation of the  relevant resolutions of the  United Nations, and does not adversely affect the  interests of the  peoples of those Territories;
Calls upon the administering Powers to enter into constructive dialogue with the  Special Committee before the  fifty-sixth session of the  General Assembly to develop a framework for the  implementation of provisions of Article 73 e of the  Charter and the  Declaration on the  Granting of Independence to the  Colonial Countries and Peoples for the  period beyond the  year 2000;
Calls upon the administering Powers to cooperate fully with the  Special Committee to finalize before the  end of 2005 a constructive programme of work on a case-by-case basis for the  Non-Self-Governing Territories to facilitate the  implementation of the  mandate of the  Special Committee and the  relevant resolutions on decolonization, including resolutions on specific Territories;
Calls upon the administering Powers to cooperate fully with the  Special Committee to develop a constructive programme of work on a case-by-case basis for the  Non-Self-Governing Territories to facilitate the  implementation of the  mandate of the  Special Committee and the  relevant resolutions of the  United Nations on decolonization, including resolutions on specific Territories;

Mr. Mwinyi(United Republic of Tanzania) called upon the administering Powers of the  remaining Non-Self-Governing Territories to do what was necessary to achieve their decolonization under the  Charter and the  Declaration on decolonization.
They urged that such missions should be undertaken as soon as possible, and called upon the administering Powers to cooperate in their facilitation, where there are no sovereignty disputes.
