Moreover, the Armenian side must be aware that, in its resolutions 822(1993), 853(1993), 874(1993) and 884(1993), the Security Council not only referred to andsupported the OSCE-led conflict settlement process, but also endorsed the continuing efforts by the Minsk Group of the Conference on Security and Cooperation in Europe(CSCE), including efforts to implement those resolutions.

The Parliament of Georgia emphasizes that the Government of Georgia shall not yield to the provocative actions and declarations of the Russian Federation aimed at preparing grounds for possible armed provocations,driving the conflict settlement process into the confrontational regime and discrediting Georgia on the international arena and that Georgia will steadily continue the process of democracy building and follow the path of the Euro-Atlantic integration.

On the contrary, by asserting that"the people of Nagorno-Karabakh exercised their right to self-determination" the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Armenia confirmed once again that the Armenian side considers the conflict settlement process only as a means of achieving the annexation of Azerbaijani territories that it has captured through military force and in which it has carried out ethnic cleansing.
By asserting that"the people of Nagorno-Karabakh have realized the right to self-determination in full compliance with the principles of international law", the Permanent Representative of Armenia acknowledges, in other words,that the Armenian side considers the conflict settlement process only as a means of securing the annexation of Azerbaijani territories that it has captured through military force and in which it has carried out ethnic cleansing.
