IV. Proposal by Belarus.
The Russian Federation supported the proposal by Belarus.
GRPE noted the proposal by Belarus for correcting the current wording of the Russian version of Regulation No. 120.
In its further work revising Recommendation"D", the Working Party decided to take into account the proposal by Belarus for the amendment it proposed on"Reference to Standards" ECE/TRADE/C/WP.6/2009/8.

Proposals by Belarus.
The Working Party SC.3/WP.3 may wish to come back to the amended chapters 3, 6 and 12, which it has already approved, andsuggest that Working Party SC.3 make a few corrections to them with due regard to the above-mentioned proposals by Belarus and Ukraine, if these are deemed appropriate.
The Working Party may wish to come back to the text of the above-mentioned amended chapters 3, 4, 6 and 12 andmay decide to suggest to SC.3 to make a few amendments to them with due regard to the proposals by Belarus and Ukraine and to the text of the revised article 10.03 of RVBR, if deemed appropriate.
I have the honour to transmit herewith a letter addressed to you by His Excellency Mr. Alyaksandr Lukashenka, President of the Republic of Belarus(annex I), and a memorandum issued by the Government of Belarus concerning further coordinated activities of the international community on Chernobyl andthe possible implementation under United Nations auspices of the proposals by Belarus regarding international cooperation in relation to Chernobyl annex II.
Background information relating to the proposal will be provided by Belarus and the Russian Federation and presented in document FCCC/CP/2013/INF.3.
For item 5.3.4., concerning the burning behaviour of materials in the interior construction ofcertain categories of vehicles, it was noted that the proposal tabled by Belarus(TRANS/WP.29/2002/73) should be transmitted to GRSG for technical consideration.
His country therefore supported the proposal submitted by Belarus and the Russian Federation to request an advisory opinion from the International Court of Justice as to the legal consequences of resort to the use of force in certain circumstances.
It invited the Chairman of the Task Force to initiate a review of the proposal for the contribution by Belarus for 2003 in order to advise the Bureau on whether it could approve this proposal. .
