Subject to deletion of the second sentence, the Commission adopted paragraph 1.
In accordance with the procedure set out inthe note by the President of the Security Council dated 26 July 2010(S/2010/507)(S/2010/507), all items subject to deletion in 2011 remained on the list of items of which the Council is seized for one additional year see S/2011/10/Add.9.
All items subject to deletion for which no request to retain has been received by 29 February 2008 shall be deleted.
If a State Member of the United Nations notifies the Secretary-General by 29 February 2008 that it wishes an item subject to deletion to remain on the list, that item shall be retained on the list of matters of which the Security Council is seized for one year.
Item 11 is subject to deletion in 2009 pursuant to the procedure set out in the note by the President of the Security Council dated 31 December 2008 S/2008/847.
In accordance with the procedure set out in document S/2010/507, at the request of Member States and with the concurrence of the Security Council,all items identified in paragraph 4 of document S/2011/10 as subject to deletion in 2011 will remain on the list of items of which the Council is seized for one additional year.
Also pursuant to the note by the President, items 59 to 86 above are subject to deletion in 2011 because they have not been considered by the Council at a formal meeting during the three-year period from 1 January 2008 to 31 December 2010.
It is also worth noting that the approval process might take up to a maximum of 6 months and in the event where a non-EU national has neglected to follow this procedure but nonetheless registered his property will constitute a violation of the above legislation andthe registration will be regarded as voidable and subject to deletion from the land registry.
Also pursuant to the note by the President, items 57 to 87 above are subject to deletion in 2012 because they have not been considered by the Council at a formal meeting during the three-year period from 1 January 2009 to 31 December 2011.
As the present summary statement is the first to be issued in January 2008, it identifies, pursuant to the procedure set out in the note by the President of the Security Council dated 19 July 2006(S/2006/507), items which,as at 1 January 2008, are subject to deletion for having not been considered by the Council at a formal meeting during the preceding five-year period of 2003-2007.
It also shows those items,identified in paragraph 3 of document S/2008/10 as subject to deletion in 2008 for not having not been considered by the Council at a formal meeting during the preceding five-year period of 2003-2007, which have been retained pursuant to a request from one or more Member States received by 29 February 2008.
In addition, as it is the first addendum issued in March, it reflects the deletion of items pursuant to the procedure set out in the note by thePresident dated 31 December 2008(S/2008/847), and lists those items subject to deletion which, at the request of a Member State and with the concurrence of the Security Council, will remain on the summary statement for one additional year.
Listed below are those items which were identified in document S/2010/10 as subject to deletion in 2010 because they had not been considered by the Council at a formal meeting during the three-year period from 1 January 2007 to 31 December 2009 and which, pursuant to the procedure set out in document S/2008/847, will remain on the summary statement for one additional year.
The Working Group met on 12 January for the purpose of adopting its programme of work andreviewing the first weekly summary statement for 2011. On 24 February, members met with a view to reviewing agenda items subject to deletion and to discuss a possible briefing for members by the Secretariat on areas of special interest concerning the Council's working methods and procedures.
The following items were identified in paragraph 4 of document S/2010/10 as subject to deletion in the year 2010 and, in the absence of a request to retain them received by 28 February 2010, have been deleted from the list of matters of which the Security Council is seized, in accordance with the procedure set out in document S/2008/847(the item numbers correspond to the list contained in document S/2010/10): items 81 and 84.
Pursuant to the note by the President of the Security Council dated 19 December 2007(S/2007/749),the first summary statement issued during the month of April 2008 will confirm those items identified in paragraph 3 above as subject to deletion which have been retained for one year at the request of one or more Member States and will also confirm those items identified in paragraph 3 which, absent such a request, have been deleted from the list.
Listed below are those items which were identified in document S/2009/10 as subject to deletion in 2009 because they had not been considered by the Council at a formal meeting during the three-year period from 1 January 2006 to 31 December 2008 and which, pursuant to the procedure set out in the note by the President of the Security Council dated 31 December 2008(S/2008/847), will remain on the summary statement for one additional year.
In addition, as it is the first addendum issued in March, it reflects the deletion of items pursuant to the procedure set out in the note by thePresident of the Security Council dated 31 December 2008(S/2008/847), and lists those items subject to deletion which, at the request of a Member State and with the concurrence of the Security Council, will remain on the summary statement for one additional year.
The first addendum issued in March 2012 will indicate those items identified in paragraph 4 above as subject to deletion and which, at the request of a Member State, the Security Council has decided to retain for one year, and will also indicate those items identified in paragraph 4 which, in the absence of such a decision by the Council, have been deleted from the list.
Pursuant to the procedure set out in the note by the President, the items listed in paragraph 4 above will be deleted unless a State Member of the United Nations notifies the President of the Security Council by 28 February 2010 that it wishes an item subject to deletion to remain on the list of matters of which the Security Council is seized, in which case such item will remain, unless the Council decides otherwise.
The first addendum issued in March 2014 will indicate those items identified in paragraph 4 above as subject to deletion and which, at the request of a Member State, the Security Council has decided to retain for one year, and will also indicate those items identified in paragraph 4 which, in the absence of such a decision by the Council, have been deleted from the list.
Consistent with paragraph 49 of the annex to the note by the President of the Security Council dated 19 July 2006,the first summary statement issued during the month of April of each calendar year should confirm those items identified as subject to deletion that have been retained for one year at the request of one or more Member States and should also confirm those items which, absent such a request, have been deleted from the list.
The following items are items which were identified in document S/2008/10 as subject to deletion in the year 2008 and which, in the absence of a request to retain received by 29 February 2008, have been deleted from the list of matters of which the Security Council is seized, in accordance with the procedure set out in document S/2006/507(the item numbers correspond to the list contained in paragraph 2 of document S/2008/10): 29, 33, 60, 61 and 63.
Pursuant to the procedure set out in the note by the President, the items identified in paragraph 4 above will be deleted unless a Member State notifies the President of the Security Council by 29 February 2012 that it wishes an item subject to deletion to remain on the list of matters of which the Security Council is seized, in which case such item will remain on the list for one year, unless the Council decides otherwise.
The first addendum issued in March 2011 will indicate those items identified in paragraph 4 above as subject to deletion and which, at the request of a Member State, the Security Council has decided to retain for one year, and will also indicate those items identified in paragraph 4 which, in the absence of such a decision by the Council, have been deleted from the list.
Also in accordance with the procedure set out in document S/2010/507,listed below are those items identified in paragraph 4 of document S/2014/10 as subject to deletion in 2014 and which, at the request of Member States and with the concurrence of the Security Council, will remain on the list of matters of which the Council is seized for one additional year.
Spain would also work on the basis of option 3 for the relevant section appearing in document A/CONF.183/2/Add.1, subject to deletion of the words“with the object or result of establishing a[military] occupation of, or annexing, the territory of such other State or part thereof by armed forces of the attacking State”.
Also in accordance with the procedure set out in document S/2010/507,listed below are those items identified in paragraph 4 of document S/2012/10 as subject to deletion in 2012 and which, at the request of Member States and with the concurrence of the Security Council, will remain on the list of matters of which the Council is seized for one additional year.
Subject to the deletion of the words“to receive payment”, the Working Group approved paragraph 8.
