It reaffirms the applicability of the Hague Convention of 1907 andthe 1949 Geneva Convention to the Syrian territory occupied by Israel since 1967.
In resolution 56/32,which deals with Israeli policies in the Syrian territory occupied  by Israel since 1967, the Assembly demanded once more that Israel withdraw from all the occupied Syrian Golan in implementation of the relevant Security Council resolutions.
The operative part also reaffirms the applicability of the provisions of the 1949 Fourth Geneva Convention to the Syrian territory occupied by Israel since 1967.
In resolution 49/87 B,which deals with Israeli policies in the Syrian territory occupied  by Israel since 1967, the General Assembly demanded once more that Israel withdraw from all the occupied Syrian Golan in implementation of the relevant Security Council resolutions.
Operative paragraph 3 reaffirms the Assembly's determination that all relevant provisions of the Regulations annexed to the Hague Convention of 1907 andthe Geneva Convention relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War continue to apply to the Syrian territory occupied by Israel.
It also confirms the applicability of The Hague Convention of 1907 andthe Geneva Conventions of 1949 to the Syrian territory occupied since 1967 and the illegitimacy of the decision to apply Israeli law to that territory  and the settlement operations there.
Nonetheless, my country expresses its sincere regrets at the non-implementation of the provisions of General Assembly resolutions 53/37 and 53/38 adopted on 2 December 1998, as to the transfer by certain countries of their diplomatic missions still in Jerusalem,and as to the situation on Syrian territory occupied since 1967.

In resolution 48/59 B,which deals with Israeli policies in the Syrian territory occupied by Israel since 1967, the Assembly called upon the international community to urge Israel to withdraw from the occupied Syrian  Golan and other occupied  Arab territories. .
Reaffirms its determination that all relevant provisions of the Regulations annexed to the Hague Convention of 1907, 3/ and the Geneva Convention relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War, of 12 August 1949, continue to apply to the Syrian territory occupied by Israel since 1967, and calls upon the parties thereto to respect and ensure respect for their obligations under those instruments in all circumstances;
The General Assembly, in its resolution 47/63 A,which deals with Israeli policies in the Syrian territory occupied by Israel since 1967, called upon the international community to urge Israel to withdraw from the occupied Syrian  Golan and other occupied  Arab territories. .

Israeli withdrawal from the Syrian territories occupied since 1967 is an important element in achieving a comprehensive, just and durable peace.
