The SBI may wish to invite Parties to provide their views on this proposal.
Action: In accordance with the calendar of meetings of Convention bodies for 2002-2007 adopted by the COP at its seventh session, the second sessional period in 2003 is scheduled from 1 to 12 December 2003( See FCCC/CP/2001/13/Add.4,section V). The SBI may wish to invite Parties interested in hosting the ninth session of the Conference of the Parties(COP 9)to present offers for consideration by the SBI at its sixteenth session.
The SBI may also wish to invite Parties to come forward with offers to host COP 22 and CMP 12.
Introducing the item, the representative of the Secretariat drew attention to the draft work programme of the Open-ended Working Group for the biennium 2016- 2017 prepared by the Secretariat(UNEP/CHW/OEWG.9/14),saying that the Working Group might wish to invite parties and others to submit further comments on the draft work programme and request the Secretariat to revise it in consultation with the Bureau of the Working Group and the Bureau of the Conference of the Parties. .
The SBI may wish to invite Parties interested in hosting COP 12 to come forward with offers to host.
In accordance with a request by the Bureau,the SBI may also wish to invite Parties interested in hosting COP 13 to come forward as early as possible with offers to host.
The SBI may wish to invite Parties in a position to do so to provide financial assistance for the implementation of the work programme of the CGE and to invite multilateral and bilateral support programmes to collaborate with the CGE in the provision of technical support to non-Annex I Parties for the preparation of their national communications.
In order to facilitate communications concerning matters related to the Protocol,the Meeting of the Parties may wish to invite Parties, Signatories, other interested States and other concerned stakeholders to designate focal points for the Protocol if they have not already done so.
The SBSTA may wish to invite Parties, intergovernmental organizations and non-governmental organizations to submit their observations and views on this matter.
The Conference of the Parties may further wish to invite Parties, as well as governments of States not Parties, intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations, to make contributions to these two funds.
The CMP may wish to invite Parties to make contributions to the Trust Fund for Supplementary Activities for the biennium 2012- 2013 to support the work of the Compliance Committee.
The COP may also wish to invite Parties to provide to the secretariat any information regarding the expected timing of their ratification of the Kyoto Protocol.
The SBI may further wish to invite Parties to the Convention that have not yet signed the Protocol to accede to it, following their respective national processes.
In this context,the SBI may wish to invite Parties to forward to the secretariat their views on the process for consideration of the initial communications by 15 October 1996.
The SBI may also wish to invite Parties to nominate experts to the roster no later than 30 November 2001 using the form in document FCCC/SBI/2001/INF.6.
Action: The SBI may wish to invite Parties interested in hosting the tenth session of the Conference of the Parties(COP 10)to present offers for consideration by the SBI at its eighteenth session.
The COP may further wish to invite Parties, as well as Governments of States not Parties, intergovernmental organizations and NGOs to make contributions to the Supplementary Fund.
The COP/MOP may also wish to invite Parties to contribute to the UNFCCC Trust Fund for Supplementary Activities for the biennium 2006- 2007 to support the work of the Compliance Committee.
The CMP may also wish to invite Parties to make contributions to the UNFCCC Trust Fund for Supplementary Activities for the biennium 2008- 2009 to support the work of the Compliance Committee.
The SBI may also wish to invite Parties to provide contributions to assist with the costs arising from the additional sessions of the AWG-LCA and AWG, including those to be held in Bonn.
The SBSTA may wish to invite Parties to send their comments on technical issues related to the approach to the second compilation and synthesis indicated in this note by 1 April 1996.
The COP may further wish to invite Parties, as well as governments of States not Parties, intergovernmental organizations and non-governmental organizations, to make contributions to the sSupplementary fFund.
The SBSTA may also wish to invite Parties to submit to the secretariat, by15 August 1998, their views on possible clarifications, additions and/or amendments to all aspects of the UNFCCC Guidelines as well as the nature and timing of future revisions.

The SBI may also wish to invite Parties in a position to do so to provide financial assistance for the implementation of the work programme of the CGE, particularly for the training workshops scheduled for 2011, and invite multilateral and bilateral support programmes to collaborate with the CGE in the provision of technical support to non-Annex I Parties for the preparation of their national communications.
In addition, the SBI may wish to invite Parties in a position to do so to provide financial resources to enable the CGE to implement the activities planned in accordance with its work programme and to invite multilateral and bilateral support programmes to collaborate with the CGE in the provision of technical support to non-Annex I Parties in preparing their national communications and biennial update reports BURs.
The Working Party may wish to invite Governments to become Parties to the ADN Agreement.
The COP may also wish to invite interested Parties to present offers to host COP 19 and CMP 9, and to take action as appropriate.
The COP may also wish to invite interested Parties to present offers to host COP 23 and CMP 13 and take any further action it deems appropriate.
The Conference may wish to invite States parties to provide voluntary contributions to facilitate the participation of experts from developing countries in the meetings of the Working Group.
