European political parties and European political foundations shall be governed by this Regulation.
While the substantive provisions applicable to such patents are governed by this Regulation, these two Regulations should be applied jointly as of one specific date.
The investigations and prosecutions on behalf of the EPPO shall be governed by this Regulation.
Given the involvement of the European Parliament in the matters governed by this Regulation, the chairperson of the management board should be able to invite an expert of the European Parliament to attend the meetings of the management board.

The Agency shall cooperate with international organisations, in particular UNHCR,in areas governed by this Regulation, within the framework of working arrangements concluded with those bodies, in accordance with the Treaty and the provisions on the competence of those bodies.
In relations between Member States,this Regulation shall take precedence over the following Conventions insofar as they concern matters governed by this Regulation:-.
Any device which is intended to administer a medicinal product as defined in point 2 of Article 1 of Directive 2001/83/EC shall be governed by this Regulation, without prejudice to the provisions of that Directive and of Regulation(EC) No 726/2004 with regard to the medicinal product.
Relations with certain multilateral conventions In relations between Member States,this Regulation shall take precedence over the following Conventions in so far as they concern matters governed by this Regulation.
Member States shall communicate to the Commission the text of the laws, regulations andadministrative provisions which they adopt in the field governed by this Regulation no later than 30 days after their date of adoption and for the first time by 4 December 2011.
Notwithstanding paragraph 1, this Regulation shall, as between Member States,take precedence over conventions concluded between them in so far as such conventions concern matters governed by this Regulation.

Any device which, when placed on the market or put into service, incorporates as an integral part an in vitro diagnostic medical device as defined in point 2 of Article 2 of Regulation(EU) 2017/746,shall be governed by this Regulation.
Since there are States in which two or more systems of law orsets of rules concerning matters governed by this Regulation coexist, there should be a provision governing the extent to which this Regulation applies in the different territorial units of those States.
Member States with two or more legal systems With regard to a Member State in which two or more systems of law orsets of rules concerning matters governed by this Regulation apply in different territorial units.
A participating Member State in which different systems of law or sets of rules apply to matters governed by this Regulation shall not be required to apply this Regulation to conflicts of law arising solely between such different systems of law or sets of rules.
Any part of commitments made by the Commission under programmes referred to in paragraph 1 still open on the date of accession shall be governed by this Regulation from the date of accession.
The Agency shall cooperate with UN entities and international organisations, in particular UNHCthe UNHCR and the OHCHR,in areas governed by this Regulation, within the framework of working arrangements concluded with those bodies, in accordance with the Treaty and the provisions on the competence of those bodies.
Any part of the commitments made by the Commission in respect of the programmes referred to in paragraph 1 andyet open to the date of accession is governed by this Regulation as from the date of accession.
The final evaluation report shall also contain consolidated information from relevant annual reports on all funding governed by this Regulation, including external assigned revenues and contributions to trust funds offering a breakdown of spending by beneficiary country, use of financial instruments, commitments and payments.
However, this Regulation shall, as between Member States, take precedence over conventions concluded exclusively between two ormore of them insofar as such conventions concern matters governed by this Regulation.
The liability regime in respect of passengers, their luggage and║ vehicles and the rules on insurance orother financial security shall be governed by this Regulation and by Articles 1 and 1bis, Article 2(2), Articles 3 to16, with the exception of Article 7(2), and Articles 18, 20 and 21 of the Athens Convention set out in Annex I and the provisions of the IMO Guidelines set out in Annex II.
This Regulation shall not affect the application of bilateral or multilateral conventions and agreements to which one or more Member States are party at the time of adoption of this Regulation and which concern matters governed by this Regulation, without prejudice to the obligations of Member States under Article 307 of the Treaty.
(22) Since there are States and participating Member States in which two or more systems of law orsets of rules concerning matters governed by this Regulation coexist, there should be a provision governing the extent to which this Regulation applies in the different territorial units of those States and participating Member States, or the extent to which this Regulation applies to different categories of persons of those States and participating Member States.
Notwithstanding paragraph 1, this Regulation shall, between Member States, take precedence over conventions which relate to subjects governed by this Regulation and to which the Member States are party.
Subject to the provisions of Articles 38, 42 and paragraph 2 of this Article, this Regulation shall, for the Member States, supersede conventions existing at the time of entry into force of this Regulation which have been concluded between two or more Member States andrelate to matters governed by this Regulation.
(22) Since there are States and participating Member States in which two or more systems of law orsets of rules concerning matters governed by this Regulation coexist, there should be a provision governing the extent to which this Regulation applies in the different territorial units of those States and participating Member States.
Any device which, when placed on the market orused in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions, incorporates as an integral part an in vitro diagnostic medical device as defined in Article 2 of Regulation(EU)[…/…][on in vitro diagnostic medical devices] shall be governed by this Regulation, unless it is covered by Article 1(3) of that Regulation. .
