The proposed act is of EEA relevance.

If, within six weeks of its being convened, the Conciliation Committee does not approve the joint text, the proposed act shall be deemed not to have been adopted.
Action can be taken more effectively at EU level, on the basis of a Union legal act ensuring the coherence andcomparability of statistical information at EU level in the statistical domains covered by the proposed act.

When Parliament is consulted pursuant to Article 140(2) of the Treaty on the Functioningof the European Union, it shall deliberate on the basis of a report by its committee responsible advocating approval or rejection of the proposed act.
