(17) जिन लोगों ने अपने रब का इनकार किया उनकी मिसाल यह है कि उनके कर्म जैसे राख हों जिसपर आँधी के दिन प्रचंड हवा का झोंका चले।

And indeed We have put forth for men, in this Quran every kind of similitude in order that they may remember.
हमने इस क़ुरआन में लोगों के लिए हर प्रकार की मिसालें पेश कर दी हैं, ताकि वे शिक्षा ग्रहण करें।

And the similitude of the foul word is as a foul tree, uprooted from upon the earth, and there is for it no stability.
और अशुभ एंव अशुद्ध बात की मिसाल एक अशुभ वृक्ष के सदृश है, जिसे धरती के ऊपर ही से उखाड़ लिया जाए और उसे कुछ भी स्थिरता प्राप्त न हो।

अल्लाह तआला का फरमान है:"अल्लाह तआला के पास ईसा की मिसाल आदम की तरह है, जिसे मिट्टी से पैदा करके कह दिया कि हो जा, बस वह हो गया।

We have indeed turned about for men in this Koran every manner of similitude; yet most men refuse all but unbelief.
और हमने तो लोगों(के समझाने) के वास्ते इस क़ुरान में हर क़िस्म की मसलें अदल बदल के बयान कर दीं उस पर भी अक्सर लोग बग़ैर नाशुक्री किए नहीं रहते।

अल्लाह तआला का फरमान है:"अल्लाह तआला के पास ईसा की मिसाल आदम की तरह है, जिसे मिट्टी से पैदा करके कह दिया कि हो जा, बस वह हो गया।

We have indeed turned about for men in this Koran every manner of similitude; man is the most disputatious of things.
और हमने तो इस क़ुरान में लोगों(के समझाने) के वास्ते हर तरह की मिसालें फेर बदल कर बयान कर दी है मगर इन्सान तो तमाम मख़लूक़ात से ज्यादा झगड़ालू है।

His similitude is that of a dog; if you attack him, he lolls out his tongue, or if you leave him alone, he still lolls out his tongue.
अतः उसकी मिसाल कुत्ते जैसी है कि यदि तुम उस पर हमला करो तब भी वह ज़बान लटकाए हांपता रहे या तुम उसे छोड़ दो तब भी वह ज़बान लटकाए ही रहे।

We have explained in detail in this Qur'an, for the benefit of mankind, every kind of similitude: but man is, in most things, contentious.
हमने लोगों के लिए इस क़ुरआन में हर प्रकार के उत्तम विषयों को तरह-तरह से बयान किया है, किन्तु मनुष्य सबसे बढ़कर झगड़ालू है।

मुसलमान दोनों फरीक़ की मसल अन्धे और बहरे और देखने वाले और सुनने वाले की सी है क्या ये दोनो मसल में बराबर हो सकते हैं तो क्या तुम लोग ग़ौर नहीं करते और हमने नूह को ज़रुर उन की क़ौम के पास भेजा?

And assuredly We have propounded for mankind, in this Qur'an, every kind of similitude; and if thou bringest unto them a sign, those who disbelieve are sure to say: ye are but followers of falsehood.
और हमने तो इस कुरान में(लोगों के समझाने को) हर तरह की मिसल बयान कर दी और अगर तुम उनके पास कोई सा मौजिज़ा ले आओ।

The similitude of my Ahlalbayt amongst you is the same as that of Noah's Ark amongst his tribe. Whoever boards it will be saved and he who avoided it will drown.[5]".
मैंने नबी(स) को कहते हुए सुना है कि जान लो कि मेरे अहलेबैत की मिसाल तुम्हारे बीच ऐसी ही है जैसे नूह(अ) की कौम के बीच उनकी कश्ती थी, कि जो उस पर सवार हो गया वह नजात पा गया और जिसने उसका विरोध किया वो डूब गया.[5]।

और हमने तो इस कुरान में(लोगों के समझाने को) हर तरह की मिसल बयान कर दी और अगर तुम उनके पास कोई सा मौजिज़ा ले आओ।

Propound thou unto them the similitude of two men. We appointed to one of them two gardens of vine and hedged both with date- palms, and We placed in-between the twain tillage.
और(ऐ रसूल) इन लोगों से उन दो शख़्शों की मिसाल बयान करो कि उनमें से एक को हमने अंगूर के दो बाग़ दे रखे है और हमने चारो ओर खजूर के पेड़ लगा दिये है और उन दोनों बाग़ के दरमियान खेती भी लगाई है।

And indeed We have set forth for the people in this Qur'an, every kind of similitude, and if you bring unto them a sign, certainly those who disbelieve will say:‘You are naught but follow falsehood'.”.
और हमने वर्णन कर दिया है लोगों के लिए इस क़ुर्आन में प्रत्येक उदाहरण का और यदि आप ले आयें उनके पास कोई निशानी, तो भी अवश्य कह देंगे, जो काफ़िर हो गये कि तुम तो केवल झूठ बनाते हो।

Allah propoundeth for those who disbelieve the similitude of the wife of Nuh and the wife of Lut. They were under two of our righteous bondmen; then they defrauded them. Wherefore the twain availed them naught against Allah, and it was said: enter ye twain the Fire with those who enter.
अल्लाह ने इनकार करनेवालों के लिए नूह की स्त्री और लूत की स्त्री की मिसाल पेश की है। वे हमारे बन्दों में से दो नेक बन्दों के अधीन थीं। किन्तु उन दोनों स्त्रियों ने उनसे विश्वासघात किया तो अल्लाह के मुक़ाबले में उनके कुछ काम न आ सके और कह दिया गया,"प्रवेश करनेवालों के साथ दोनों आग में प्रविष्ट हो जाओ।

We have struck for the people in this Koran every manner of similitude; and if thou bringest them a sign, those who are unbelievers will certainly say,'You do nothing but follow falsehood.'(58) This is how Allah sets seal upon the hearts of the ignorant.
और हमने वर्णन कर दिया है लोगों के लिए इस क़ुर्आन में प्रत्येक उदाहरण का और यदि आप ले आयें उनके पास कोई निशानी, तो भी अवश्य कह देंगे, जो काफ़िर हो गये कि तुम तो केवल झूठ बनाते हो।

And Allah propoundeth for those who believe the similitude of the wife Of Fir'awn, when she said:'my Lord! build me in Thine presence a house in the Garden, and deliver me from Fir'awn and his handiwork, and deliver me from the transgressing people.
और ईमान लानेवालों के लिए अल्लाह ने फ़िरऔन की स्त्री की मिसाल पेश की है, जबकि उसने कहा,"ऐ मेरे रब! तू मेरे लिए अपने पास जन्नत में एक घर बना और मुझे फ़िरऔन और उसके कर्म से छुटकारा दे, और छुटकारा दे मुझे ज़ालिम लोगों से।

And Allah propoundeth for those who believe the similitude of the wife Of Fir'awn, when she said:'my Lord! build me in Thine presence a house in the Garden, and deliver me from Fir'awn and his handiwork, and deliver me from the transgressing people.
और ख़ुदा ने मोमिनीन(की तसल्ली) के लिए फिरऔन की बीवी(आसिया) की मिसाल बयान फ़रमायी है कि जब उसने दुआ की परवरदिगार मेरे लिए अपने यहाँ बेहिश्त में एक घर बना और मुझे फिरऔन और उसकी कारस्तानी से नजात दे और मुझे ज़ालिम लोगो(के हाथ) से छुटकारा अता फ़रमा।
