But that's where the similitude ends.

Or(take) the similitude of one who passed by a hamlet, all in ruins.
یا اس شخص کی مانند کہ جس کا گزر اس بستی پر ہوا جو چھت کے بل اوندھی پڑی ہوئی تھی

And indeed We have fully explained to mankind, in this Quran, every kind of similitude.
ترجمہ:”اور ہم نے اس قرآن میں لوگوں کیلئے ہر طرح کی مثالیں بیان کردی ہیں

Coin for them a similitude: The people of the city when those sent(from Allah) came unto them;
اور بیان کر ان کے واسطے ایک مثل اس گاؤں کے لوگوں کی جب کہ آئے اس میں بھیجے ہوئے

Indeed We(Allah) have fully explained to mankind in this Qur'an every kind of similitude”.
ترجمہ:”اور ہم نے اس قرآن میں لوگوں کیلئے ہر طرح کی مثالیں بیان کردی ہیں

(32) They bring not to thee any similitude but that We bring thee the truth, and better in exposition.
(33) اور وہ کوئی کہاوت تمہارے پاس نہ لائیں گے مگر ہم حق اور اس سے بہتر بیان لے آئیں گے

And indeed We have put forth for men, in this Quran every kind of similitude in order that they may remember.
ہم نے اِس قرآن میں لوگوں کو طرح طرح کی مثالیں دی ہیں کہ یہ ہوش میں آئیں

(178) Evil is the similitude of those people who accuse our signs of falsehood, and injure their own souls.
(177) کیا بری کہاوت ہے ان کی جنہوں نے ہماری آیتیں جھٹلائیں اور اپنی ہی جان کا برا کرتے تھے

Those who have chosen to disbelieve, try to ridicule by saying,“What could Allah mean to teach by this similitude?”.
اور جن کے دلوں میں بیماری ہے اور وہ کافر کہیں کہ اس بیان سے اللہ تعالیٰ کی کیا مراد ہے

(32) And they bring thee no similitude but We bring thee the Truth(as against it), and better(than their similitude) as argument.
(33) اور وہ کوئی کہاوت تمہارے پاس نہ لائیں گے مگر ہم حق اور اس سے بہتر بیان لے آئیں گے

Indeed We have struck for the people in this Koran every manner of similitude; haply they will remember;
اور ہم نے لوگوں کے لئے اس قرآن میں ہر طرح کی مثال بیان کردی ہے کہ شاید یہ عبرت اور نصیحت حاصل کرسکیں

And he spoke also to them a similitude: Can the blind lead the blind? do they not both fall into the ditch?
اور اُس نے اُن سے ایک تمثِیل بھی کہی کہ کیا اندھے کو اندھا راہ دِکھا سکتا ہے؟ کیا دونوں گڑھے میں نہ گِریں گے؟?

And indeed We have put for[the Guidance of] man, in this Qur'an every kind of similitude in order that they may remember.”.
اور یقیناً ہم نے اس قرآن میں لوگوں کے لئے ہر قسم کی مثال بیان کردی ہے تاکہ وہ نصیحت حاصل کریں

And the similitude of the foul word is as a foul tree, uprooted from upon the earth, and there is for it no stability.
اور ناپاک بات کی مثال گندے درخت جیسی ہے جو زمین کے کچھ ہی اوپر سے اکھاڑ لیا گیا۔ اسے کچھ ﺛبات تو ہے نہیں

We have indeed turned about for men in this Koran every manner of similitude; man is the most disputatious of things.
ہم نے اس قرآن میں ہر ہر طریقے سے تمام کی تمام مثالیں لوگوں کے لئے بیان کردی ہیں لیکن انسان سب سے زیاده جھگڑالو ہے

And he has struck for Us a similitude and forgotten his creation; he says,'Who shall quicken the bones when they are decayed?'.
اور اس نے ہمارے لئے مثال بیان کی اور اپنی(اصل) پیدائش کو بھول گیا، کہنے لگا ان گلی سڑی ہڈیوں کو کون زنده کر سکتا ہے

We have indeed turned about for men in this Koran every manner of similitude; man is the most disputatious of things.
اور ہم نے اس قرآن میں لوگوں(کی ہدایت) کے لئے ہر قسم کی مثالیں الٹ پلٹ کر بیان کر دی ہیں۔(مگر) انسان ہر چیز سے بڑھ کر جھگڑالو ہے

And he hath coined for Us a similitude, and hath forgotten the fact of his creation, saying: Who will revive these bones when they have rotted away?
اور ہمارے لیے کہاوت کہتا ہے اور اپنی پیدائش بھول گیا بولا ایسا کون ہے کہ ہڈیوں کو زندہ کرے جب وہ بالکل گل گئیں،?

We have indeed turned about for men in this Koran every manner of similitude; man is the most disputatious of things.
اور ہم نے اس قرآن میں لوگوں(کے سمجھانے) کے لئے طرح طرح کی مثالیں بیان فرمائی ہیں۔ لیکن انسان سب چیزوں سے بڑھ کر جھگڑالو ہے

And assuredly We have variously propounded in this Qur'an for mankind every kind of similitude; and man is of all things the most disputing.
ہم نے اس قرآن میں ہر ہر طریقے سے تمام کی تمام مثالیں لوگوں کے لئے بیان کردی ہیں لیکن انسان سب سے زیاده جھگڑالو ہے

And assuredly We have variously propounded for mankind in this Qur'an every kind of similitude, yet most men have refused everything except infidelity.
ہم نے تو اس قرآن میں لوگوں کے سمجھنے کے لئے ہر طرح سے تمام مثالیں بیان کردی ہیں، مگر اکثر لوگ انکار سے باز نہیں آتے

The similitude of the two parties is as the blind and the deaf and the seer and the hearer. Are they equal in similitude? Will ye not then be admonished?
ان دونوں فرقوں کی مثال اندھے، بہرے اور دیکھنے، سننے والے جیسی ہے۔ کیا یہ دونوں مثال میں برابر ہیں؟ کیا پھر بھی تم نصیحت حاصل نہیں کرتے؟?

And We have explained to man, in this Qur'an, every kind of similitude: yet the greater part of men refuse(to receive it) except with ingratitude!
اور ہم نے قرآن میں سب باتیں طرح طرح سے بیان کردی ہیں۔ مگر اکثر لوگوں نے انکار کرنے کے سوا قبول نہ کیا!

And assuredly We have variously propounded in this Qur'an for mankind every kind of similitude; and man is of all things the most disputing.
