തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അതില്‍ ഭയപ്പെടുന്നവര്‍ക്ക് ഒരു ഗുണപാഠമുണ്ട്‌.

Eat ye and feed your cattle. Lo! herein verily are portents for men of thought.

നിങ്ങള്‍ തിന്നുകയും, നിങ്ങളുടെ കന്നുകാലികളെ മേയ്ക്കുകയും ചെയ്തുകൊള്ളുക. ബുദ്ധിമാന്‍മാര്‍ക്ക് അതില്‍ ദൃഷ്ടാന്തങ്ങളുണ്ട്‌.

തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അതില്‍ ജനങ്ങള്‍ക്കൊരു ദൃഷ്ടാന്തമുണ്ട്. എന്നിട്ടും അവരിലേറെ പേരും വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നവരായില്ല.

അഹംഭാവം നടിച്ചവര്‍ പറയും: തീര്‍ച്ചയായും നമ്മളെല്ലാം ഇതില്‍ തന്നെയാകുന്നു. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അല്ലാഹു ദാസന്‍മാര്‍ക്കിടയില്‍ വിധി കല്‍പിച്ചു കഴിഞ്ഞു.

Verily herein is a sign; but most of them are not believers.

തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അതില്‍( മനുഷ്യര്‍ക്ക്‌) ഒരു ദൃഷ്ടാന്തമുണ്ട് എന്നാല്‍ അവരില്‍അധികപേരും വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നവരായില്ല.

Observe they not that We have appointed the night that they may repose therein, and the day sight-giving?Verily herein are signs unto a people who believe.

അവര്‍ കാണുന്നില്ലേ? അവര്‍ക്ക് ശാന്തി കൈവരിക്കാന്‍ നാം രാവിനെ ഉണ്ടാക്കിയത്. പകലിനെ പ്രഭാപൂരിതമാക്കിയതും. സംശയമില്ല;വിശ്വസിക്കുന്ന ജനത്തിന് അതില്‍ ധാരാളം തെളിവുകളുണ്ട്.

തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അതില്‍ ‍( മനുഷ്യര്‍ക്ക്‌) ഒരു ദൃഷ്ടാന്തമുണ്ട് എന്നാല്‍ അവരില്‍അധികപേരും വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നവരായില്ല.

If He will He calmeth the wind so that they keep still upon its surface-Lo! herein verily are signs for every steadfast grateful(heart).-.

അവന്‍ ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്ന പക്ഷം അവന്‍ കാറ്റിനെ അടക്കി നിര്‍ത്തും. അപ്പോള്‍ അവകടല്‍ പരപ്പില്‍ നിശ്ചലമായി നിന്നുപോകും. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അതില്‍ ക്ഷമാശീലരും നന്ദിയുള്ളവരുമായ ഏവര്‍ക്കും ദൃഷ്ടാന്തങ്ങളുണ്ട്‌.

Lo! herein verily are portents, for lo! We are ever putting(mankind) to the test.

തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അതില്‍( പ്രളയത്തില്‍) പല ദൃഷ്ടാന്തങ്ങളുമുണ്ട്‌. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും നാം പരീക്ഷണം നടത്തുന്നവന്‍ തന്നെയാകുന്നു.

He has decreed for you the same religion decreed for Noah,and what is revealed herein, and what was decreed for Abraham, Moses and Jesus.

നൂഹിനോട് അനുശാസിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടായിരുന്നതും ദിവ്യസന്ദേശം വഴി ഇപ്പോള്‍ നിന്നിലേക്കയച്ചിട്ടുള്ളതും ഇബ്റാഹീം, മൂസാ, ഈസാ എന്നിവരോടനുശാസിച്ചിരുന്നതുമായ അതേ ദീനിനെത്തന്നെ നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് നിയമിച്ചുതന്നിരിക്കുന്നു;

അതു കൊണ്ടു എനിക്കു ദൈവത്തോടും മനുഷ്യരോടും കുറ്റമില്ലാത്ത മനസ്സാക്ഷി എല്ലായ്പോഴും ഉണ്ടായിരിപ്പാന്‍ ഞാന്‍ ശ്രമിക്കുന്നു.

Allah sendeth down water from the sky and therewith reviveth the earth after her death.Lo! herein is indeed a portent for a folk who hear.

അല്ലാഹു ആകാശത്ത് നിന്ന് വെള്ളം ചൊരിഞ്ഞുതരികയും, അത് മൂലം ഭൂമിയെ- അത് നിര്‍ജീവമായികിടന്നതിന് ശേഷം-അവന്‍ സജീവമാക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. കേട്ട് മനസ്സിലാക്കുന്ന ആളുകള്‍ക്ക് തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അതില്‍ ദൃഷ്ടാന്തമുണ്ട്‌.

Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.

ന്യായവിധിദിവസത്തില്‍ നമുക്കു ധൈര്യം ഉണ്ടാവാന്‍ തക്കവണ്ണം ഇതിനാല്‍ സ്നേഹം നമ്മോടു തികഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു. അവന്‍ ഇരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ ഈ ലോകത്തില്‍ നാമും ഇരിക്കുന്നു.

And He it is Who spread out the earth and placed therein firm hills and flowing streams, and of all fruits He placed therein two spouses(male andfemale). He covereth the night with the day. Lo! herein verily are portents for people who take thought.

അവനാണ് ഭൂമിയെ വിശാലമാക്കുകയും, അതില്‍ ഉറച്ചുനില്‍ക്കുന്ന പര്‍വ്വതങ്ങളും നദികളും ഉണ്ടാക്കുകയും ചെയ്തവന്‍. എല്ലാ ഫലവര്‍ഗങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്നും അവനതില്‍ ഈ രണ്ട് ഇണകളെ ഉണ്ടാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു. അവന്‍ രാത്രിയെക്കൊണ്ട് പകലിനെ മൂടുന്നു. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അതില്‍ ചിന്തിക്കുന്ന ജനങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് ദൃഷ്ടാന്തങ്ങളുണ്ട്‌.

And hath made of service unto you whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth;it is all from Him. Lo! herein verily are portents for a people who reflect.

ആകാശഭൂമികളിലുള്ളതൊക്കെയും അവന്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് അധീനപ്പെടുത്തിത്തന്നിരിക്കുന്നു. എല്ലാം അവനില്‍ നിന്നുള്ളതാണ്. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും ചിന്തിക്കുന്ന ജനത്തിന് ഇതിലൊക്കെയും ധാരാളം തെളിവുകളുണ്ട്.

അവനിച്ഛിക്കുമ്പോള്‍ അവന്‍ കാറ്റിനെ ഒതുക്കിനിര്‍ത്തുന്നു. അപ്പോള്‍ ആ കപ്പലുകള്‍ കടല്‍പ്പരപ്പില്‍ അനക്കമറ്റു നിന്നുപോകുന്നു.നന്നായി ക്ഷമിക്കുന്നവര്‍ക്കും നന്ദി കാണിക്കുന്നവര്‍ക്കും നിശ്ചയമായും അതില്‍ ധാരാളം ദൃഷ്ടാന്തങ്ങളുണ്ട്.

And of His signs is, thathe created for you from yourselves pouses that ye may findrepose in them, and He set between you affection and mercy. verily herein are signs for a people who ponder.

അല്ലാഹു നിങ്ങളുടെ വര്‍ഗത്തില്‍ നിന്നുതന്നെ നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് ഇണകളെ സൃഷ്ടിച്ചുതന്നു. അവരിലൂടെ ശാന്തി തേടാന്‍. നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കിടയില്‍സ്നേഹവും കാരുണ്യവും ഉണ്ടാക്കി. ഇതൊക്കെയും അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ ദൃഷ്ടാന്തങ്ങളില്‍ പെട്ടവയാണ്. സംശയമില്ല; വിചാരശാലികളായ ജനത്തിന് ഇതിലെല്ലാം നിരവധി തെളിവുകളുണ്ട്.

And He hath constrained the night and the day and the sun and the moon to be of service unto you, and the stars are made subservient by His command.Lo! herein indeed are portents for people who have sense.

രാവിനെയും പകലിനെയും സൂര്യനെയും ചന്ദ്രനെയും അവന്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് വിധേയമാക്കിത്തന്നിരിക്കുന്നു. നക്ഷത്രങ്ങളും അവന്‍റെകല്‍പനയാല്‍ വിധേയമാക്കപ്പെട്ടത് തന്നെ. ചിന്തിക്കുന്ന ആളുകള്‍ക്ക് തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അതില്‍ ദൃഷ്ടാന്തങ്ങളുണ്ട്‌.

Then eat of all fruits, and follow the ways of thy Lord, made smooth(for thee). There cometh forth from their bellies a drink divers of hues, wherein is healing for mankind.Lo! herein is indeed a portent for people who reflect.

പിന്നെ എല്ലാതരം ഫലങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്നും നീ ഭക്ഷിച്ച് കൊള്ളുക. എന്നിട്ട് നിന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവ് സൌകര്യപ്രദമായി ഒരുക്കിത്തന്നിട്ടുള്ള മാര്‍ഗങ്ങളില്‍ നീ പ്രവേശിച്ച് കൊള്ളുക. അവയുടെ ഉദരങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്ന് വ്യത്യസ്ത വര്‍ണങ്ങളുള്ള പാനീയം പുറത്ത് വരുന്നു. അതില്‍ മനുഷ്യര്‍ക്ക് രോഗശമനം ഉണ്ട്‌. ചിന്തിക്കുന്ന ആളുകള്‍ക്ക് തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അതില്‍ ദൃഷ്ടാന്തമുണ്ട്‌.

Therewith He causeth crops to grow for you, and the olive and the date-palm and grapes and all kinds of fruit.Lo! herein is indeed a portent for people who reflect.

അത്( വെള്ളം) മൂലം ധാന്യവിളകളും, ഒലീവും, ഈന്തപ്പനയും, മുന്തിരികളും നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് മുളപ്പിച്ച് തരുന്നു. എല്ലാതരം ഫലവര്‍ഗങ്ങളും( അവന്‍ ഉല്‍പാദിപ്പിച്ച് തരുന്നു.)ചിന്തിക്കുന്ന ആളുകള്‍ക്ക് തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അതില്‍ ദൃഷ്ടാന്തമുണ്ട്‌.
