And supplicate your Lord.
നിന്റെ നാഥനില് പ്രതീക്ഷ അര്പ്പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുക.He said,"Do they hear you when you supplicate?
അദ്ദേഹം ചോദിച്ചു:" നിങ്ങള് പ്രാര്ഥിക്കുമ്പോള് അവയത് കേള്ക്കുമോ?Supplicate to Allah to send rain for them.
അങ്ങ് അല്ലാഹുവോട് മഴക്കു വേണ്ടി പ്രാര്ഥിച്ചാലും.Till when We grasp their luxurious ones with the punishment, behold! they supplicate.
Then he supplicated to his Lord saying:'These are sinful people'.
And when waves come over them like canopies, they supplicate Allah, sincere to Him in religion.
പര്വ്വതങ്ങള് പോലുള്ള തിരമാല അവരെ മൂടിക്കളഞ്ഞാല് കീഴ്വണക്കം അല്ലാഹുവിന് മാത്രമാക്കിക്കൊണ്ട് അവനോട് അവര് പ്രാര്ത്ഥിക്കുന്നതാണ്.Say:'I supplicate only to my Lord and I do not associate any with Him'.
പറയുക: ഞാന് എന്റെ നാഥനെ മാത്രമേ വിളിച്ചു പ്രാര്ഥിക്കുകയുള്ളൂ. ആരെയും അവന്റെ പങ്കാളിയാക്കുകയില്ല.Indeed, they used to hasten to good deeds and supplicate Us in hope and fear, and they were to Us humbly submissive.
തീര്ച്ചയായും അവര്( പ്രവാചകന്മാര്) ഉത്തമകാര്യങ്ങള്ക്ക് ധൃതികാണിക്കുകയും, ആശിച്ച് കൊണ്ടും, പേടിച്ചുകൊണ്ടും നമ്മോട് പ്രാര്ത്ഥിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നവരായിരുന്നു. അവര് നമ്മോട് താഴ്മ കാണിക്കുന്നവരുമായിരുന്നു.Say:'I supplicate only to my Lord and I do not associate any with Him'.
( നബിയേ,) പറയുക: ഞാന് എന്റെ രക്ഷിതാവിനെ മാത്രമേ വിളിച്ചു പ്രാര്ത്ഥിക്കുകയുള്ളൂ. അവനോട് യാതൊരാളെയും ഞാന് പങ്കുചേര്ക്കുകയില്ല.When misfortune befalls you at sea, all except He of those to whom you supplicate forsake you; yet when He delivers you safely to the land, you turn away. The human is unthankful.
കടലില് നിങ്ങളെ വല്ല വിപത്തും ബാധിച്ചാല് അല്ലാഹുവെക്കൂടാതെ നിങ്ങള് വിളിച്ചു പ്രാര്ഥിക്കുന്നവയെല്ലാം അപ്രത്യക്ഷമാകുന്നു. എന്നാല് അവന് നിങ്ങളെ കരയിലേക്ക് രക്ഷപ്പെടുത്തിയാല് നിങ്ങള് അവനില്നിന്ന് തിരിഞ്ഞുകളയുന്നു. മനുഷ്യന് ഏറെ നന്ദികെട്ടവന് തന്നെ.So supplicate Allah, putting exclusive faith in Him, though the faithless should be averse!
അതിനാല് കീഴ്വണക്കം അല്ലാഹുവിനു മാത്രമാക്കി അവനോട് പ്രാര്ഥിക്കുക. സത്യനിഷേധികള്ക്ക് അതെത്ര അനിഷ്ടകരമാണെങ്കിലും!They will say: came there not your apostles Unto you with evidences? They will say: Yea?They will say: supplicate then yourselves. And supplication of the infidels will be but in wandering.
ആ കാവല്ക്കാര് ചോദിക്കും:" നിങ്ങള്ക്കുള്ള ദൈവദൂതന്മാര് വ്യക്തമായ തെളിവുകളുമായി നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുത്ത് വന്നിട്ടുണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ലേ?" അവര് പറയും:" അതെ." അപ്പോള് ആ കാവല്ക്കാര് പറയും:" എങ്കില് നിങ്ങള്തന്നെ പ്രാര്ഥിച്ചുകൊള്ളുക." സത്യനിഷേധികളുടെ പ്രാര്ഥന തീര്ത്തും നിഷ്ഫലമത്രെ.And Noah(supplicated) saying:'My Lord, do not leave a single unbeliever upon the earth!
It is He who conveys you by land and sea. When you are on board the ship and the ships run with them upon a fair breeze they are joyful.(But when) a strong wind and waves come upon them from every side,and they think they are encompassed, they supplicate to Allah, making their religion His sincerely,(saying):'If You save us from this, we will indeed be among the thankful'.
കരയിലും കടലിലും നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് സഞ്ചരിക്കാനവസരമൊരുക്കിയത് ആ അല്ലാഹുതന്നെയാണ്. അങ്ങനെ നിങ്ങള് കപ്പലിലായിരിക്കെ, സുഖകരമായ കാറ്റുവീശി. യാത്രക്കാരെയും കൊണ്ട് കപ്പല് നീങ്ങിത്തുടങ്ങി. അവരതില് സന്തുഷ്ടരായി. പെട്ടെന്നൊരു കൊടുങ്കാറ്റടിച്ചു. എല്ലാ ഭാഗത്തുനിന്നും തിരമാലകള് അവരുടെ നേരെ ആഞ്ഞു വീശി. കൊടുങ്കാറ്റ് തങ്ങളെ വലയംചെയ്തതായി അവര്ക്കുതോന്നി. അപ്പോള് തങ്ങളുടെ വണക്കം അല്ലാഹുവിന് മാത്രം സമര്പ്പിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് അവര് അവനോട് പ്രാര്ഥിച്ചു:" ഞങ്ങളെ നീ ഇതില്നിന്ന് രക്ഷപ്പെടുത്തിയാല് ഉറപ്പായും ഞങ്ങള് നന്ദിയുള്ളവരായിരിക്കും.”.And man supplicates for evil as he supplicates for good, and man is ever hasty.
മനുഷ്യന് നന്മക്കുവേണ്ടിയെന്നപോലെ തിന്മക്കുവേണ്ടിയും പ്രാര്ഥിക്കുന്നു. അവന് വല്ലാത്ത ധൃതിക്കാരന് തന്നെ.He is the Living; there is no god except He. Supplicate to Him and make the religion sincerely His. Praise belongs to Allah, Lord of the Worlds!
അവന് എന്നെന്നും ജീവിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നവനാണ്. അവനല്ലാതെ ദൈവമില്ല. അതിനാല് ആത്മാര്ഥതയോടെ അവനു മാത്രം കീഴ്പ്പെടുക. അവനോടു മാത്രം പ്രാര്ഥിക്കുക. പ്രപഞ്ചനാഥനായ അല്ലാഹുവിനാണ് സര്വസ്തുതിയും!Moses supplicated,"Lord, I have power over none but myself and my brother; so separate us from the disobedient people.".
മൂസാ പ്രാര്ഥിച്ചു:" എന്റെ നാഥാ, എന്റെയും എന്റെ സഹോദരന്റെയും മേലല്ലാതെ എനിക്കു നിയന്ത്രണമില്ല. അതിനാല് ധിക്കാരികളായ ഈ ജനത്തില്നിന്ന് നീ ഞങ്ങളെ വേര്പെടുത്തേണമേ.”.They constantly supplicate for the forgiveness of righteous people and their admission to paradise.
സദ്വൃത്തരായ ആളുകളുടെ പാപമോചനത്തിനും സ്വര്ഗപ്രവേശത്തിനും അവര് നിരന്തരം അല്ലാഹുവിനോട് പ്രാര്ഥിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്….Then he supplicated to his Lord,(saying):'I am overcome, help me'.
അപ്പോള് അദ്ദേഹം തന്റെ രക്ഷിതാവിനെ വിളിച്ചു പ്രാര്ത്ഥിച്ചു: ഞാന് പരാജിതനാകുന്നു. അതിനാല്( എന്റെ) രക്ഷയ്ക്കായി നീ നടപടി സ്വീകരിക്കണമേ.He answered:‘Supplicate:‘O Allah, You are the All Pardoning and You love pardoning, so pardon me.'”.
നബി പറഞ്ഞു:‘ അല്ലാഹുവേ നീ അങ്ങേയറ്റം പൊറുത്തു കൊടുക്കുന്നവനാണ്, പൊറുത്തു കൊടുക്കുന്നത് നീ ഇഷ്ടപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു, എനിക്ക് നീ പൊറുത്തു തന്നാലും….'.To Allah belong the Best Names, so supplicate Him by them, and abandon those who commit sacrilege in His names. Soon they shall be requited for what they used to do.
അല്ലാഹുവിന് അത്യുല്കൃഷ്ടമായ അനേകം നാമങ്ങളുണ്ട്. ആ നാമങ്ങളില് തന്നെ നിങ്ങളവനെ വിളിച്ചു പ്രാര്ഥിക്കുക. അവന്റെ നാമങ്ങളില് കൃത്രിമം കാണിക്കുന്നവരെ അവഗണിക്കുക. സംശയം വേണ്ട. അവര് പ്രവര്ത്തിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നതിന്റെ ഫലം അവര്ക്ക് കിട്ടുക തന്നെ ചെയ്യും.When distress befalls people, they supplicate their Lord, turning to Him in penitence. Then, when He lets them taste His mercy, behold, a part of them ascribe partners to their Lord.
ജനങ്ങള്ക്ക് വല്ല ദുരിതവും ബാധിച്ചാല് തങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷിതാവിങ്കലേക്ക് തിരിഞ്ഞും കൊണ്ട് അവനോട് അവര് പ്രാര്ത്ഥിക്കുന്നതാണ്. പിന്നെ തന്റെ പക്കല് നിന്നുള്ള കാരുണ്യം അവര്ക്കവന് അനുഭവിപ്പിച്ചാല് അവരില് ഒരു വിഭാഗമതാ തങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷിതാവിനോട് പങ്കുചേര്ക്കുന്നു.Do not turn away those who supplicate their Lord morning and evening, seeking His magnificence. You are not accountable for them in the least, nor they for you at all. If you drive them away you will only be unjust.
തങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷിതാവിന്റെ അനുഗ്രഹം ലക്ഷ്യമാക്കിക്കൊണ്ട് രാവിലെയും വൈകുന്നേരവും അവനോട് പ്രാര്ത്ഥിച്ചു കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നവരെ നീ ആട്ടിയകറ്റരുത്. അവരുടെ കണക്ക് നോക്കേണ്ട യാതൊരു ബാധ്യതയും നിനക്കില്ല. നിന്റെ കണക്ക് നോക്കേണ്ട യാതൊരു ബാധ്യതയും അവര്ക്കുമില്ല. എങ്കിലല്ലേ നീ അവരെ ആട്ടിയകറ്റേണ്ടി വരുന്നത്? അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്യുന്ന പക്ഷം നീ അക്രമികളില് പെട്ടവനായിരിക്കും.And whensoever a plague fell on them, they said: O Musa! supplicate thy Lord for us, by that which He hath covenanted with thee; surely if thou remove the plague from us we will surely believe in thee, and we will send away with thee the Children of Israi'l.
ശിക്ഷ അവരുടെ മേല് വന്നുഭവിച്ചപ്പോള് അവര് പറഞ്ഞു: ഹേ; മൂസാ,നിന്റെ രക്ഷിതാവ് നിന്നോട് ചെയ്തിട്ടുള്ള കരാര് മുന്നിര്ത്തി ഞങ്ങള്ക്ക് വേണ്ടി അവനോട് നീ പ്രാര്ത്ഥിക്കുക. ഞങ്ങളില് നിന്ന് ഈ ശിക്ഷ അകറ്റിത്തരുന്ന പക്ഷം ഞങ്ങള് നിന്നെ വിശ്വസിക്കുകയും, ഇസ്രായീല് സന്തതികളെ നിന്റെ കൂടെ ഞങ്ങള് അയച്ചു തരികയും ചെയ്യുന്നതാണ്; തീര്ച്ച.Do not drive away those who supplicate their Lord morning and evening desiring His face. Neither are you accountable for them in any way, nor are they accountable for you in any way, so that you may drive them away and thus become one of the wrongdoers.
തങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷിതാവിന്റെ അനുഗ്രഹം ലക്ഷ്യമാക്കിക്കൊണ്ട് രാവിലെയും വൈകുന്നേരവും അവനോട് പ്രാര്ത്ഥിച്ചു കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നവരെ നീ ആട്ടിയകറ്റരുത്. അവരുടെ കണക്ക് നോക്കേണ്ട യാതൊരു ബാധ്യതയും നിനക്കില്ല. നിന്റെ കണക്ക് നോക്കേണ്ട യാതൊരു ബാധ്യതയും അവര്ക്കുമില്ല. എങ്കിലല്ലേ നീ അവരെ ആട്ടിയകറ്റേണ്ടി വരുന്നത്? അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്യുന്ന പക്ഷം നീ അക്രമികളില് പെട്ടവനായിരിക്കും.Content yourself with the company of those who supplicate their Lord morning and evening, desiring His Face, and do not lose sight of them, desiring the glitter of the life of this world. And do not obey him whose heart We have made oblivious to Our remembrance, and who follows his own desires, and whose conduct is[mere] profligacy.
തങ്ങളുടെ നാഥന്റെ പ്രീതി പ്രതീക്ഷിച്ച് രാവിലെയും വൈകുന്നേരവും അവനോട് പ്രാര്ഥിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നവരോടൊപ്പം നീ നിന്റെ മനസ്സിനെ ഉറപ്പിച്ചുനിര്ത്തുക. ഇഹലോക ജീവിതത്തിന്റെ മോടി തേടി നിന്റെ കണ്ണുകള് അവരില്നിന്നും തെറ്റിപ്പോവാതിരിക്കട്ടെ. നമ്മുടെ സ്മരണയെ സംബന്ധിച്ച് അശ്രദ്ധരാവുന്നവനെയും തന്നിഷ്ടത്തെ പിന്പറ്റുന്നവനെയും പരിധി ലംഘിച്ച് ജീവിക്കുന്നവനെയും നീ അനുസരിച്ചുപോകരുത്.Content yourself with the company of those who supplicate their Lord morning and evening, desiring His Face, and do not lose sight of them, desiring the glitter of the life of this world. And do not obey him whose heart We have made oblivious to Our remembrance, and who follows his own desires.
തങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷിതാവിന്റെ മുഖം ലക്ഷ്യമാക്കിക്കൊണ്ട് കാലത്തും വൈകുന്നേരവും അവനോട് പ്രാര്ത്ഥിച്ച് കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നവരുടെ കൂടെ നീ നിന്റെ മനസ്സിനെ അടക്കി നിര്ത്തുക. ഇഹലോകജീവിതത്തിന്റെ അലങ്കാരം ലക്ഷ്യമാക്കിക്കൊണ്ട് നിന്റെ കണ്ണുകള് അവരെ വിട്ടുമാറിപ്പോകാതിരിക്കട്ടെ. ഏതൊരുവന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തെ നമ്മുടെ സ്മരണയെ വിട്ടു നാം അശ്രദ്ധമാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നുവോ, ഏതൊരുവന് തന്നിഷ്ടത്തെ പിന്തുടരുകയും അവന്റെ കാര്യം അതിരുകവിഞ്ഞതായിരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തുവോ, അവനെ നീ അനുസരിച്ചു പോകരുത്.When distress befalls man, he supplicates his Lord, turning to Him penitently. Then, when He grants him a blessing from Himself, he forgets that for which he had supplicated Him earlier and sets up equals to Allah, that he may lead[people] astray from His way. Say,‘Revel in your ingratitude for a while. Indeed you are among the inmates of the Fire.'.
മനുഷ്യന് വല്ല വിഷമവും ബാധിച്ചാല് അവന് തന്റെ രക്ഷിതാവിങ്കലേക്ക് താഴ്മയോടെ മടങ്ങിക്കൊണ്ട് പ്രാര്ത്ഥിക്കും. എന്നിട്ട് തന്റെ പക്കല് നിന്നുള്ള വല്ല അനുഗ്രഹവും അല്ലാഹു അവന്ന് പ്രദാനം ചെയ്താല് ഏതൊന്നിനായി അവന് മുമ്പ് പ്രാര്ത്ഥിച്ചിരുന്നുവോ അതവന് മറന്നുപോകുന്നു. അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ മാര്ഗത്തില് നിന്ന് വഴിതെറ്റിച്ച് കളയുവാന് വേണ്ടി അവന്ന് സമന്മാരെ സ്ഥാപിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.( നബിയേ,) പറയുക: നീ അല്പകാലം നിന്റെ ഈ സത്യനിഷേധവും കൊണ്ട് സുഖിച്ചു കൊള്ളുക. തീര്ച്ചയായും നീ നരകാവകാശികളുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിലാകുന്നു.When an affliction befalls a human, he supplicates to his Lord and turns to Him(in repentance) yet, no sooner does He bestow on him His blessing than he forgets that for which he had just supplicated and sets up associates with Allah in order to lead(people) away from His Path. Say:'Enjoy your disbelief for awhile, you shall surely be among the companions of the Fire.
മനുഷ്യന് വല്ല വിഷമവും ബാധിച്ചാല് അവന് തന്റെ രക്ഷിതാവിങ്കലേക്ക് താഴ്മയോടെ മടങ്ങിക്കൊണ്ട് പ്രാര്ത്ഥിക്കും. എന്നിട്ട് തന്റെ പക്കല് നിന്നുള്ള വല്ല അനുഗ്രഹവും അല്ലാഹു അവന്ന് പ്രദാനം ചെയ്താല് ഏതൊന്നിനായി അവന് മുമ്പ് പ്രാര്ത്ഥിച്ചിരുന്നുവോ അതവന് മറന്നുപോകുന്നു. അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ മാര്ഗത്തില് നിന്ന് വഴിതെറ്റിച്ച് കളയുവാന് വേണ്ടി അവന്ന് സമന്മാരെ സ്ഥാപിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.( നബിയേ,) പറയുക: നീ അല്പകാലം നിന്റെ ഈ സത്യനിഷേധവും കൊണ്ട് സുഖിച്ചു കൊള്ളുക. തീര്ച്ചയായും നീ നരകാവകാശികളുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിലാകുന്നു.And when Abraham and Ishmael raised the foundations of the House(supplicating):'O our Lord, accept this from us, You are the Hearer, the Knower.
ഓര്ക്കുക: ഇബ്റാഹീമും ഇസ്മാഈലും ആ മന്ദിരത്തിന്റെ അടിത്തറ കെട്ടിപ്പൊക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. അന്നേരമവര് പ്രാര്ഥിച്ചു:" ഞങ്ങളുടെ നാഥാ! ഞങ്ങളില് നിന്ന് നീയിത് സ്വീകരിക്കേണമേ; നിശ്ചയമായും നീ എല്ലാം കേള്ക്കുന്നവനും അറിയുന്നവനുമല്ലോ".
