And We send the fecundating winds, then cause the rain to descend from the sky, therewith providing you with water(in abundance), though ye are not the guardians of its stores.
നാം മേഘവാഹിനികളായ കാറ്റിനെ അയക്കുന്നു. അങ്ങനെ മാനത്തുനിന്ന് വെള്ളമിറക്കുന്നു. നാം നിങ്ങളെയത് കുടിപ്പിക്കുന്നു. അതൊന്നും ശേഖരിച്ചുവെക്കുന്നത് നിങ്ങളല്ലല്ലോ.

Who giveth you out of the green tree fire, and lo! ye kindle therewith.
പച്ചമരത്തില്‍നിന്ന് നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് തീയുണ്ടാക്കിത്തന്നവനാണവന്‍. അങ്ങനെ നിങ്ങളിപ്പോഴിതാ അതുപയോഗിച്ച് തീ കത്തിക്കുന്നു.

And We make(this Scripture) easy in thy tongue,(O Muhammad) only that thou mayst bear good tidings therewith unto those who ward off(evil), and warn therewith the froward folk.
നാം ഈ വചനങ്ങളെ നിന്റെ ഭാഷയില്‍ വളരെ ലളിതവും സരളവുമാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു. നീ ഭക്തജനങ്ങളെ ശുഭവാര്‍ത്ത അറിയിക്കാനാണിത്. താര്‍ക്കികരായ ജനത്തെ താക്കീത് ചെയ്യാനും.

He found a fresh jawbone of a donkey, and put forth his hand, and took it, and struck a thousand men therewith.
അവന്‍ ഒരു കഴുതയുടെ പച്ചത്താടിയെല്ലു കണ്ടു കൈ നീട്ടി എടുത്തു അതുകൊണ്ടു ആയിരം പേരെ കൊന്നുകളഞ്ഞു.

Then when He gave them out of His grace, they became niggardly therewith and turned away as backsliders.
എന്നിട്ട് അവന്‍ അവര്‍ക്ക് തന്‍റെ അനുഗ്രഹത്തില്‍ നിന്ന് നല്‍കിയപ്പോള്‍ അവര്‍ അതില്‍ പിശുക്ക് കാണിക്കുകയും, അവഗണിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് തിരിഞ്ഞുകളയുകയും ചെയ്തു.

Then he said unto me, Lo, I have given thee cow's dung for man's dung, and thou shalt prepare thy bread therewith.
അവന്‍ എന്നോടുനോക്കുക മാനുഷകാഷ്ഠത്തിന്നു പകരം ഞാന്‍ നിനക്കു പശുവിന്‍ ചാണകം അനുവദിക്കുന്നു; അതു കത്തിച്ചു നിന്റെ അപ്പം ചുട്ടുകൊള്‍ക എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു.

Let not wherefore their riches and their children amaze thee. Allah intendeth only to torment them therewith in the life of the world and that their souls pass away while they are infidels.
അവരുടെ സ്വത്തുക്കളും സന്താനങ്ങളും നിന്നെ ആശ്ചര്യപ്പെടുത്താതിരിക്കട്ടെ! അവ മുഖേന ഇഹലോകജീവിതത്തില്‍ അവരെ ശിക്ഷിക്കണമെന്നും, സത്യനിഷേധികളായിരിക്കെതന്നെ അവര്‍ ജീവനാശമടയണമെന്നും മാത്രമാണ് അല്ലാഹു ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നത്‌.

അല്ലാഹു തന്‍റെ പൊരുത്തം തേടിയവരെ അത് മുഖേന സമാധാനത്തിന്‍റെ വഴികളിലേക്ക് നയിക്കുന്നു. തന്‍റെ ഉത്തരവ് മുഖേന അവരെ അന്ധകാരങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്ന് അവന്‍ പ്രകാശത്തിലേക്ക് കൊണ്ടുവരുകയും, നേരായ പാതയിലേക്ക് അവരെ നയിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

Verily those who hope not for meeting with us, and, well- pleased with the life of the world, and are satisfied therewith, and those who are neglectful of our signs.
നമ്മെ കണ്ടുമുട്ടും എന്ന് പ്രതീക്ഷിക്കാത്തവരും, ഇഹലോകജീവിതം കൊണ്ട് തൃപ്തിപ്പെടുകയും, അതില്‍ സമാധാനമടയുകയും ചെയ്തവരും, നമ്മുടെ തെളിവുകളെപ്പറ്റി അശ്രദ്ധരായി കഴിയുന്നവരും ആരോ.

See you not that Allah sends down water(rain) from the sky, and We produce therewith fruits of varying colours, and among the mountains are streaks white and red, of varying colours and(others) very black.
അല്ലാഹു മാനത്തുനിന്ന് മഴ വീഴ്ത്തുന്നത് നീ കാണുന്നില്ലേ? അതുവഴി നാനാ നിറമുള്ള പലയിനം പഴങ്ങള്‍ നാം ഉല്‍പ്പാദിപ്പിക്കുന്നു. പര്‍വതങ്ങളിലുമുണ്ട് വെളുത്തതും ചുവന്നതുമായ വ്യത്യസ്ത വര്‍ണമുള്ള വഴികള്‍. കറുത്തിരുണ്ടതുമുണ്ട്.

It is Allah Who sends forth the Winds, so that they raise up the Clouds, and We drive them to a land that is dead, and revive the earth therewith after its death: even so(will be) the Resurrection!
കാറ്റുകളെ അയച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നവന്‍ അല്ലാഹുവാണ്. അങ്ങനെ അത് മേഘത്തെ തള്ളിനീക്കുന്നു. പിന്നീട് നാമതിനെ മൃതമായ നാട്ടിലേക്ക് നയിക്കുന്നു. അതുവഴി നാം ഭൂമിയെ അതിന്റെ നിര്‍ജീവാവസ്ഥക്കുശേഷം ജീവനുള്ളതാക്കുന്നു. അവ്വിധം തന്നെയാണ് ഉയിര്‍ത്തെഴുന്നേല്‍പും!

If thou askest them,'Who sends down out of heaven water, and therewith revives the earth after it is dead?' they will say,'God.' Say: 'Praise belongs to God.' Nay, but most of them have no understanding.
ആകാശത്ത് നിന്ന് വെള്ളം ചൊരിയുകയും, ഭൂമി നിര്‍ജീവമായി കിടന്നതിനു ശേഷം അതുമൂലം അതിന് ജീവന്‍ നല്‍കുകയും ചെയ്താരെന്ന് നീ അവരോട് ചോദിക്കുന്ന പക്ഷം തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അവര്‍ പറയും; അല്ലാഹുവാണെന്ന്‌. പറയുക: അല്ലാഹുവിന് സ്തുതി! പക്ഷെ അവരില്‍ അധികപേരും ചിന്തിച്ച് മനസ്സിലാക്കുന്നില്ല.

Then David ran, and stood over the Philistine, and took his sword, and drew it out of its sheath, and killed him, and cut off his head therewith. When the Philistines saw that their champion was dead, they fled.
ആകയാല്‍ ദാവീദ് ഔടിച്ചെന്നു ഫെലിസ്ത്യന്റെ പുറത്തു കയറിനിന്നു അവന്റെ വാള്‍ ഉറയില്‍നിന്നു ഊരിയെടുത്തു അവനെ കൊന്നു, അവന്റെ തല വെട്ടിക്കളഞ്ഞു. തങ്ങളുടെ മല്ലന്‍ മരിച്ചുപോയി എന്നു ഫെലിസ്ത്യര്‍ കണ്ടിട്ടു ഔടിപ്പോയി.

If you were to ask them:“Who sent down water from the sky and therewith revived the earth after its death?” they will certainly say:“Allah.” Say: “To Allah alone be praise and thanks.” But most people do not understand.
ആകാശത്ത് നിന്ന് വെള്ളം ചൊരിയുകയും, ഭൂമി നിര്‍ജീവമായി കിടന്നതിനു ശേഷം അതുമൂലം അതിന് ജീവന്‍ നല്‍കുകയും ചെയ്താരെന്ന് നീ അവരോട് ചോദിക്കുന്ന പക്ഷം തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അവര്‍ പറയും; അല്ലാഹുവാണെന്ന്‌. പറയുക: അല്ലാഹുവിന് സ്തുതി! പക്ഷെ അവരില്‍ അധികപേരും ചിന്തിച്ച് മനസ്സിലാക്കുന്നില്ല.

And Allah it is Who sendeth the winds and they raise a cloud; then We lead it unto a dead land and revive therewith the earth after its death. Such is the Resurrection.
അല്ലാഹുവാണ് കാറ്റുകളെ അയച്ചവന്‍. അങ്ങനെ അവ മേഘത്തെ ഇളക്കിവിടുന്നു. എന്നിട്ട് ആ മേഘത്തെ നിര്‍ജീവമായ നാട്ടിലേക്ക് നാം തെളിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് പോകുകയും, അതുമുഖേന ഭൂമിയെ അതിന്‍റെ നിര്‍ജീവാവസ്ഥയ്ക്ക് ശേഷം നാം സജീവമാക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു. അതുപോലെ തന്നെയാകുന്നു ഉയിര്‍ത്തെഴുന്നേല്‍പ്‌.

The day they shall be heated in the fire of Gehenna and therewith their foreheads and their sides and their backs shall be branded:'This is the thing you have treasured up for yourselves; therefore taste you now what you were treasuring!'.
നരകാഗ്നിയില്‍ വെച്ച് അവ ചുട്ടുപഴുപ്പിക്കപ്പെടുകയും, എന്നിട്ടത് കൊണ്ട് അവരുടെ നെറ്റികളിലും പാര്‍ശ്വങ്ങളിലും മുതുകുകളിലും ചൂടുവെക്കപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന ദിവസം( അവരോട് പറയപ്പെടും): നിങ്ങള്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് വേണ്ടി തന്നെ നിക്ഷേപിച്ചുവെച്ചതാണിത്‌. അതിനാല്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ നിക്ഷേപിച്ച് വെച്ചിരുന്നത് നിങ്ങള്‍ ആസ്വദിച്ച് കൊള്ളുക.

ഇത്( ഖുര്‍ആന്‍) നിന്‍റെ ഭാഷയില്‍ നാം ലളിതമാക്കിതന്നിരിക്കുന്നത് ധര്‍മ്മനിഷ്ഠയുള്ളവര്‍ക്ക് ഇത് മുഖേന നീ സന്തോഷവാര്‍ത്ത നല്‍കുവാനും, മര്‍ക്കടമുഷ്ടിക്കാരായ ആളുകള്‍ക്ക് ഇത് മുഖേന നീ താക്കീത് നല്‍കുവാനും വേണ്ടി മാത്രമാകുന്നു.

And though those who do wrong possess all that is in the earth, and therewith as much again, they verily will seek to ransom themselves therewith on the Day of Resurrection from the awful doom; and there will appear unto them, from their Lord, that wherewith they never reckoned.
ഭൂമിയിലുള്ളത് മുഴുവനും അതോടൊപ്പം അത്രയും കൂടിയും അക്രമം പ്രവര്‍ത്തിച്ചവരുടെ അധീനത്തില്‍ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നാല്‍ പോലും ഉയിര്‍ത്തെഴുന്നേല്‍പിന്‍റെ നാളിലെ കടുത്ത ശിക്ഷയില്‍ നിന്ന് രക്ഷപ്പെടാന്‍ അതവര്‍ പ്രായശ്ചിത്തമായി നല്‍കിയേക്കും. അവര്‍ കണക്ക് കൂട്ടിയിട്ടില്ലായിരുന്ന പലതും അല്ലാഹുവിങ്കല്‍ നിന്ന് അവര്‍ക്ക് വെളിപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്യും.

അല്ലാഹുവാണ് കാറ്റുകളെ അയച്ചവന്‍. അങ്ങനെ അവ മേഘത്തെ ഇളക്കിവിടുന്നു. എന്നിട്ട് ആ മേഘത്തെ നിര്‍ജീവമായ നാട്ടിലേക്ക് നാം തെളിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് പോകുകയും, അതുമുഖേന ഭൂമിയെ അതിന്‍റെ നിര്‍ജീവാവസ്ഥയ്ക്ക് ശേഷം നാം സജീവമാക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു. അതുപോലെ തന്നെയാകുന്നു ഉയിര്‍ത്തെഴുന്നേല്‍പ്‌!

Hast thou not seen that Allah causeth water to fall from the sky, and We produce therewith fruit of divers hues; and among the hills are streaks white and red, of divers hues, and(others) raven-black;
അല്ലാഹു മാനത്തുനിന്ന് മഴ വീഴ്ത്തുന്നത് നീ കാണുന്നില്ലേ? അതുവഴി നാനാ നിറമുള്ള പലയിനം പഴങ്ങള്‍ നാം ഉല്‍പ്പാദിപ്പിക്കുന്നു. പര്‍വതങ്ങളിലുമുണ്ട് വെളുത്തതും ചുവന്നതുമായ വ്യത്യസ്ത വര്‍ണമുള്ള വഴികള്‍. കറുത്തിരുണ്ടതുമുണ്ട്.

Here I am. Witness against me before Yahweh, and before his anointed. Whose ox have I taken? Whose donkey have I taken? Whom have I defrauded? Whom have I oppressed? Of whose hand have I taken a ransom to blind my eyes therewith? I will restore it to you.".
ഞാന്‍ ഇതാ, ഇവിടെ നിലക്കുന്നുഞാന്‍ ഒരുത്തന്റെ കാളയെ അപഹരിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടോ? ഒരുത്തന്റെ കഴുതയെ അപഹരിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടോ? ഞാന്‍ വല്ലവനെയും ചതിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടോ? വല്ലവനെയും പീഡിപ്പിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടോ? ഞാന്‍ വല്ലവന്റെയും കയ്യില്‍നിന്നു കൈക്കൂലി വാങ്ങി എന്റെ കണ്ണു കുരുടാക്കീട്ടുണ്ടോ? യഹോവയുടെയും അവന്റെ അഭിഷിക്തന്റെയും മുമ്പാകെ എന്റെ നേരെ സാക്ഷീകരിപ്പിന്‍; ഞാന്‍ അതു മടക്കിത്തരാം.

And in the alternation of Night and Day, and the fact that Allah sends down Sustenance from the sky, and revives therewith the earth after its death, and in the change of the winds,- are Signs for those that are wise.
രാവും പകലും മാറിമാറി വരുന്നതിലും, അല്ലാഹു ആകാശത്തു നിന്ന് ഉപജീവനം ഇറക്കി അതുമുഖേന ഭൂമിക്ക് അതിന്‍റെ നിര്‍ജീവാവസ്ഥയ്ക്ക് ശേഷം ജീവന്‍ നല്‍കിയതിലും, കാറ്റുകളുടെ ഗതി നിയന്ത്രണത്തിലും ചിന്തിച്ചു മനസ്സിലാക്കുന്ന ആളുകള്‍ക്ക് പല ദൃഷ്ടാന്തങ്ങളുമുണ്ട്‌.

Behold, here I am: witness against me before the LORD, and before his anointed: whose ox have I taken? or whose ass have I taken? or whom have I defrauded? whom have I oppressed? or of whose hand have I received any bribe to blind mine eyes therewith? and I will restore it you.
ഞാന്‍ ഇതാ, ഇവിടെ നിലക്കുന്നുഞാന്‍ ഒരുത്തന്റെ കാളയെ അപഹരിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടോ? ഒരുത്തന്റെ കഴുതയെ അപഹരിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടോ? ഞാന്‍ വല്ലവനെയും ചതിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടോ? വല്ലവനെയും പീഡിപ്പിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടോ? ഞാന്‍ വല്ലവന്റെയും കയ്യില്‍നിന്നു കൈക്കൂലി വാങ്ങി എന്റെ കണ്ണു കുരുടാക്കീട്ടുണ്ടോ? യഹോവയുടെയും അവന്റെ അഭിഷിക്തന്റെയും മുമ്പാകെ എന്റെ നേരെ സാക്ഷീകരിപ്പിന്‍; ഞാന്‍ അതു മടക്കിത്തരാം.

If you were to ask them:"Who sends down water(rain) from the sky, and gives life therewith to the earth after its death?" They will surely reply:"Allah." Say:"All the praises and thanks be to Allah!" Nay! Most of them have no sense.
ആകാശത്ത് നിന്ന് വെള്ളം ചൊരിയുകയും, ഭൂമി നിര്‍ജീവമായി കിടന്നതിനു ശേഷം അതുമൂലം അതിന് ജീവന്‍ നല്‍കുകയും ചെയ്താരെന്ന് നീ അവരോട് ചോദിക്കുന്ന പക്ഷം തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അവര്‍ പറയും; അല്ലാഹുവാണെന്ന്‌. പറയുക: അല്ലാഹുവിന് സ്തുതി! പക്ഷെ അവരില്‍ അധികപേരും ചിന്തിച്ച് മനസ്സിലാക്കുന്നില്ല.

Do you not see that Allah drives along the clouds, then gathers them together, then piles them up, so that you see the rain coming forth from their midst? And He sends down of the clouds that are(like) mountains wherein is hail, afflicting therewith whom He pleases and turning it away from whom He pleases; the flash of His lightning almost takes away the sight.
അല്ലാഹു കാര്‍മേഘത്തെ മന്ദംമന്ദം തെളിച്ചുകൊണ്ടുവരുന്നതും പിന്നീടവയെ ഒരുമിച്ചു ചേര്‍ക്കുന്നതും എന്നിട്ടതിനെ അട്ടിയാക്കിവെച്ച് കട്ടപിടിച്ചതാക്കുന്നതും നീ കണ്ടിട്ടില്ലേ? അങ്ങനെ അവയ്ക്കിടയില്‍ നിന്ന് മഴത്തുള്ളികള്‍ പുറപ്പെടുന്നത് നിനക്കു കാണാം. മാനത്തെ മലകള്‍പോലുള്ള മേഘക്കൂട്ടങ്ങളില്‍നിന്ന് അവന്‍ ആലിപ്പഴം വീഴ്ത്തുന്നു. എന്നിട്ട് താനിച്ഛിക്കുന്നവര്‍ക്ക് അതിന്റെ വിപത്ത് വരുത്തുന്നു. താനിച്ഛിക്കുന്നവരില്‍നിന്നത് തിരിച്ചുവിടുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു. അതിന്റെ മിന്നല്‍വെളിച്ചം കാഴ്ചകളെ ഇല്ലാതാക്കാന്‍ പോന്നതാണ്.
