The Group of Experts recalled that the objective of agenda item 4 was to review the work of railway experts on the GTC EurAsia in order toensure that negotiation of the mandated Inter-Governmental Document(IGD EurAsia) by the Group of Experts could be based and was in line with the provisions of GTC EurAsia.

In accordance with the Position Paper,the Working Party may wish to review and approve the Inter-Governmental Document for transmission to the forthcoming session of ITC 28 February to 1 March 2012.
The proposed Euro-Asian Inter-Governmental Document(IGD EurAsia) could become the instrument of such commitment and the mechanism for inter-governmental and public-private cooperation in this field.
