That the woman findeth the coin, and rejoiceth when she hath found it?
ایک زانی اپنی مزنیہ سے نکاح کر سکتا ہے جب کہ وہ حمل سے ہو(حبل بالزنا سے)؟?

I rejoice at thy word, as one that findeth great spoil.
میَں بڑی لوٹ پانے والے کی مانند تیرے کلام سے خوش ہوں

Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing and obtaineth favour of the LORD.
وہ شخص جس کے طور طریقے پسندیدہ اور شائستہ ہوں پسندیدہ رفتار و کردار کا مالک(مجازاً) مہذب، باوضع

Or shall they plunder from the throne- and findeth an outlawed stream for no wage at all?
یا کوئی انگاروں پر چلے اور اُس کے پاؤں نہ جھُلسیں؟?

And he who findeth not wherewith to do this shall fast two months consecutively as a penance enjoined from God; and God is knowing and wise.
پس جو نہ پائے اسکے ذمے لگاتار دو مہینے کے روزے ہیں(۱) اللہ تعالیٰ سے بخشوانے کے لئے اور اللہ تعالیٰ بخوبی جاننے والا اور حکمت والا ہے

He that hath a froward(deceitful or crooked) heart findeth no good: and he that hath a perverse tongue falleth into mischief(evil).'.
وہ جس کے دل میں برائی ہے بھلائی نہ پائے گا اور جس کی زبان میں نکتہ چینی ہے وہ آفت میں پڑے گا

And we used to sit on places(high) therein to listen. But he who listeneth now findeth a flame in wait for him;
اور یہ کہ ہم پہلے آسمان میں سننے کے لیے کچھ موقعوں پر بیٹھا کرتے تھے، پھر اب جو کوئی سنے وہ اپنی تاک میں آگ کا لُوکا(لپٹ) پائے

اس سے پہلے ہم باتیں سننے کے لیے آسمان میں جگہ جگہ بیٹھ جایا کرتے تھے۔ اب جو بھی کان لگاتا ہے وه ایک شعلے کو اپنی تاک میں پاتا ہے

He that hath a perverse heart findeth no good; and he that shifteth about with his tongue falleth into evil.
وہ جس کے دل میں برائی ہے بھلائی نہ پائے گا اور جس کی زبان میں نکتہ چینی ہے وہ آفت میں پڑے گا

Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the earth; and from thy face shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to pass, that every one that findeth me shall slay me.
دیکھ آج تُو نے مجھے رُویِ زمین سے نِکل دیا ہے اور مَیں تیرے حضور سے رُوپوش ہوجاءنگا اور زمین پر خانہ خراب اور آوارہ رہونگا اور ایسا ہوگا کہ جو کوئی مجھے پائیگا قتل کر ڈالیگا۔

For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.”.
اور جو شخص چاہتا ہے, ڈھونڈتا ہے; اور کسی کو بھی جنہوں نے دستک دیتا ہے, اسے کھول دیا جائے گا

And whosoever findeth not a slave to free on him is the fasting for two months in succession before the twain touch each other, and on him who is not able to do so is the feeding of sixty needy ones. That is in order that ye may believe in Allah and His apostle; and these are the ordinances of Allah. And for the infidels is a torment afflictive.
پس جو شخص نہ پائے تو دو مہینے کے لگاتار روزے رکھے اس سے پہلےکہ ایک دوسرے کو چھوئیں پس جو کوئی ایسا نہ کر سکے تو ساٹھ مسکینوں کو کھانا کھلائے یہ ا س لیے کہ تم الله اور اس کے رسول پر ایمان لاؤ اور یہ الله کی حدیں ہیں اورمنکروں کے لیے دردناک عذاب ہے

And those who disbelieve--their works are like a mirage in a desert which the thirsty deemeth to be water, until when he cometh thereto he findeth not aught, and findeth Allahs with himself, and He payeth him his account in full; and Allah is swift at reckoning.
جن لوگوں نے کفر کیا ان کے اعمال کی مثال ایسی ہے جیسے میدان میں ریت کہ پیاسا اسے پانی سمجھے یہاں تک کہ جب اس کے پاس آئے تو اسے کچھ بھی نہ پائے اور خدا ہی کو اپنے پاس دیکھے تو وہ اسے اس کا حساب پورا پورا چکا دے۔ اور خدا جلد حساب کرنے والا ہے

جس کو غلام نہ ملے وہ مجامعت سے پہلے متواتر دو مہینے کے روزے(رکھے) جس کو اس کا بھی مقدور نہ ہوا(اسے) ساٹھ مسکینوں کو کھانا کھلانا(چاہیئے)۔ یہ(حکم) اس لئے(ہے) کہ تم خدا اور اسکے رسول کے فرمانبردار ہوجاؤ۔ اور یہ خدا کی حدیں ہیں۔ اور نہ ماننے والوں کے لئے درد دینے والا عذاب ہے

Say thou: is there any of your associate-gods who guideth you to the truth! Say thou: Allah guideth unto the truth. Is He, then, who guideth to the truth more worthy to be followed, or one who findeth not the guidance unless he is guided. What aileth ye then? How ill ye judge!
کہہ دو آیا تمہارے شریکوں میں کوئی ہے جو صحیح راہ بتلائے کہہ دو الله ہی صحیح راہ بتلاتا ہے تو جو اب صحیح راستہ بتلائے اسکی بات ماننی چاہیئے یا اس کی جو خود راہ نہ پائے مگر جب کوئی اوراسے راہ بتلائے سو تمہیں کیا ہوگیا کیا انصاف کرتے ہو!

O Prophet! say to those who are captives in your hands:"If Allah findeth any good in your hearts, He will give you something better than what has been taken from you, and He will forgive you: for Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.".
اے نبی، تمھارے ہاتھ میں جو قیدی ہیں، ان سے کہہ دو کہ اگر اﷲ تمھارے دلوں میں کوئی بھلائی پائے گا تو جو کچھ تم سے لیا گیا ہے، اس سے بہتر وہ تمھیں دے دے گا اور تم کو بخش دے گا اور اﷲ بخشنے والا، مہربان ہے۔(70

Say thou: is there any of your associate-gods who guideth you to the truth! Say thou: Allah guideth unto the truth. Is He, then, who guideth to the truth more worthy to be followed, or one who findeth not the guidance unless he is guided. What aileth ye then? How ill ye judge!
تم فرماؤ تمہارے شریکوں میں کوئی ایسا ہے کہ حق کی راہ دکھائے تم فرماؤ کہ اللہ حق کی راہ دکھاتا ہے، تو کیا جو حق کی راہ دکھائے اس کے حکم پر چلنا چاہیے یا اس کے جو خود ہی راہ نہ پائے جب تک راہ نہ دکھایا جائے تو تمہیں کیا ہوا کیسا حکم لگاتے ہو،!

اور جو شخص غلام نہ پائے وہ دو مہینے کے پے در پے روزے رکھے قبل اس کے کہ دونوں ایک دوسرے کو ہاتھ لگائیں اور جو اس پر بھی قادر نہ ہو وہ ۶۰ مسکینوں کو کھانا کھلائے یہ حکم اس لیے دیا جا رہا ہے کہ تم اللہ اور اُس کے رسول پر ایمان لاؤ یہ اللہ کی مقرر کی ہوئیحدیں ہیں، اور کافروں کے لیے دردناک سزا ہے

Say: Is there of your partners(whom ye ascribe unto Allah) one that leadeth to the Truth? Say: Allah leadeth to the Truth. Is He Who leadeth to the Truth more deserving that He should be followed, or he who findeth not the way unless he(himself) be guided. What aileth you? How judge ye?
کہہ دو آیا تمہارے شریکوں میں کوئی ہے جو صحیح راہ بتلائے کہہ دو الله ہی صحیح راہ بتلاتا ہے تو جو اب صحیح راستہ بتلائے اسکی بات ماننی چاہیئے یا اس کی جو خود راہ نہ پائے مگر جب کوئی اوراسے راہ بتلائے سو تمہیں کیا ہوگیا کیا انصاف کرتے ہو?

اور کافروں کے اعمال چٹیل میدان میں سراب کی مانند ہیں جس کو پیاسا پانی سمجھتا ہے۔ یہاں تک کہ جب اس کے پاس آتا ہے تو اسے کچھ(بھی) نہیں پاتا(اسی طرح اس نے آخرت میں) اللہ کو اپنے پاس پایا مگر اللہ نے اس کا پورا حساب(دنیا میں ہی) چکا دیا تھا، اور اللہ جلد حساب کرنے والا ہے
