آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا:(جہاد فی سبیل اللہ بھی نہیں، ہاں جو شخص اپنے مال و جان کیساتھ جہاد کیلئے نکلا اور ان دونوں میں سے کوئی بھی چیز واپس نہیں آئی

(7)“He who goes forth to seek Sacred Knowledge is in the way of Allah[syn. jihad, def: o9] until he returns.”.
جو شخص علم کی طلب میں نکلے وہ اﷲ کی راہ میں ہے یہاں تک کہ وہ واپس لوٹے‘‘(ترمذی

And it is not possible for the Muslims that all of them go out; so it should be that a party from each group goes forth in order to gain knowledge in religion, and upon returning they warn their people in the hope that they may avoid.
اور مسلمانوں سے یہ تو ہو نہیں سکتا کہ سب کے سب نکلیں تو کیوں نہ ہو کہ ان کے ہر گروہ میں سے ایک جماعت نکلے کہ دین کی سمجھ حاصل کریں اور واپس آکر اپنی قوم کو ڈر سنائیں اس امید پر کہ وہ بچیں

The person who goes forth in search of knowledge is striving hard in the way of Allah, until his/her return.
جو شخص طلب علم کے لئے نکلتا ہے، وہ جہاد فی سبیل اللہ میں ہی ہے جب تک وہ لوٹ آئے۔'

(Baihaqi) Additionally, he has stated:“He who goes forth in search of knowledge is in the way of Allah(swt) till he returns.”.
حضرتِ انس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ سرکارِ اقدس ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ جو علم کی تلاش میں نکلا تو واپسی تک اللہ تعالیٰ کے راستے میں ہے۔(مشکوٰۃ شریف

It goes forth from the end of the heavens and runs to the very end again, and there is nothing hidden from its heat.
وہ آسمان کی اِنتہا سے نکلتا ہے اور اس کی گشت اس کے کناروں تک ہوتی ہے اور اس کی حرارت سے کوئی چیز بے بہر نہیں

Whoso emigrates in the way of God will find in the earth many refuges and plenty; whoso goes forth from his house an emigrant to God and His Messenger, and then death overtakes him, his wage shall have fallen on God; surely God is All-forgiving, All-compassionate.
اور جو کوئی الله کی راہ میں وطن چھوڑے اس کے عوض جگہ بہت اور کشائش پائے گا اور جو کوئی اپنے گھر سے الله اور رسول کی طرف ہجرت کر کے نکلے پھر اس کو موت پالے تو الله کے ہاں اس کا ثواب ہو چکا اور الله بخشنے والا مہربان ہے

And whoever goes forth from his home fleeing to Allah and His Messenger, then death overtakes him, his reward is indeed with Allah.
اور جو کوئی نکلے اپنے گھر سے، وطن چھوڑ کر اﷲ اور رسول کی طرف، پھر آ پکڑے اسکو موت، سو ٹھہر(ذمہ ہو)چکا اسکا ثواب اﷲ پر

And whoever flies in Allah's way, he will find in the earth many a place of refuge and abundant resources, and whoever goes forth from his house flying to Allah and His Apostle, and then death overtakes him, his reward is indeed with Allah and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
اور جو کوئی الله کی راہ میں وطن چھوڑے اس کے عوض جگہ بہت اور کشائش پائے گا اور جو کوئی اپنے گھر سے الله اور رسول کی طرف ہجرت کر کے نکلے پھر اس کو موت پالے تو الله کے ہاں اس کا ثواب ہو چکا اور الله بخشنے والا مہربان ہے

To the student who goes forth in search of knowledge, Allah allots a high place in the mansions of bliss; every lesson received has its rewards.”.
جو طالب علم تلاش علم میں نکلے گا، خدا اسے جنت الماوی میں اونچا مقام دے گا۔ اس کا ہر قدم مبارک ہے اور اس کے ہر سبق کا اسے ثواب ملے گا

And whoever flies in Allah's way, he will find in the earth many a place of refuge and abundant resources, and whoever goes forth from his house flying to Allah and His Apostle, and then death overtakes him, his reward is indeed with Allah and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
اور جو اللہ کی راہ میں گھر بار چھوڑ کر نکلے گا وہ زمین میں بہت جگہ اور گنجائش پائے گا، اور جو اپنے گھر سے نکلا اللہ و رسول کی طرف ہجرت کرتا پھر اسے موت نے آلیا تو اس کا ثواب اللہ کے ذمہ پر ہوگیا اور اللہ بخشنے والا مہربان ہے

To the student who goes forth in quest of knowledge, God will allot a high place in the mansions of bliss; every step he takes is blessed, and every lesson he receives has its reward;
جو طالب علم تلاش علم میں نکلے گا، خدا اسے جنت الماوی میں اونچا مقام دے گا۔ اس کا ہر قدم مبارک ہے اور اس کے ہر سبق کا اسے ثواب ملے گا

And whoever flies in Allah's way, he will find in the earth many a place of refuge and abundant resources, and whoever goes forth from his house flying to Allah and His Apostle, and then death overtakes him, his reward is indeed with Allah and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
اور جو کوئی راہِ خدا میں ہجرت کرے گا۔ وہ زمین میں بہت ہجرت گاہ، جائے پناہ اور بڑی کشائش پائے گا۔ اور جو شخص اپنے گھر سے خدا اور رسول(ص) کی طرف ہجرت کے ارادہ سے نکلے پھر اسے موت آجائے، تو اس کا اجر و ثواب اللہ کے ذمہ ہوگیا۔ اور اللہ بڑا بخشنے والا، رحم کرنے والا ہے

He knows what penetrates into the earth and what goes forth from it, what descends from the heaven and what ascends to it. He is the Most Merciful, the Most Forgiving.
جو زمین میں جائے اور جو اس سے نکلے جو آسمان سے اترے اور جو چڑھ کر اس میں جائے وه سب سے باخبر ہے۔ اور وه مہربان نہایت بخشش واﻻ ہے

And whoever flies in Allah's way, he will find in the earth many a place of refuge and abundant resources, and whoever goes forth from his house flying to Allah and His Apostle, and then death overtakes him, his reward is indeed with Allah and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
جو کوئی اللہ کی راہ میں ہجرت کرے گا وہ زمین میں پناہ لینے کے لیے بہت جگہ اوربسر اوقات کے لیے بڑی گنجائش پائے گا، اور جو اپنے گھر سے اللہ اور رسول کی طرف ہجرت کے لیے نکلے، پھر راستہ ہی میں اُسے موت آ جائے اُس کا اجر اللہ کے ذمے واجب ہو گیا، اللہ بہت بخشش فرمانے والا اور رحیم ہے

Whoso emigrates in the way of God will find in the earth many refuges and plenty; whoso goes forth from his house an emigrant to God and His Messenger, and then death overtakes him, his wage shall have fallen on God; surely God is All-forgiving, All-compassionate.
اور جو شخص خدا کی راہ میں گھر بار چھوڑ جائے وہ زمین میں بہت سی جگہ اور کشائش پائے گا اور جو شخص خدا اور رسول کی طرف ہجرت کرکے گھر سے نکل جائے پھر اس کو موت آپکڑے تو اس کا ثواب خدا کے ذمے ہوچکا اور خدا بخشنے والا اور مہربان ہے

And whoever flies in Allah's way, he will find in the earth many a place of refuge and abundant resources, and whoever goes forth from his house flying to Allah and His Apostle, and then death overtakes him, his reward is indeed with Allah and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
اور جو کوئی اللہ کی راہ میں گھر بار چھوڑ کرنکلے وہ زمین میں(ہجرت کے لئے) بہت سی جگہیں اور(معاش کے لئے) کشائش پائے گا، اور جو شخص بھی اپنے گھر سے اللہ اور اس کے رسول(صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی طرف ہجرت کرتے ہوئے نکلے پھر اسے(راستے میں ہی) موت آپکڑے تو اس کا اجر اللہ کے ذمے ثابت ہو گیا، اور اللہ بڑا بخشنے والا مہربان ہے

Whoso emigrates in the way of God will find in the earth many refuges and plenty; whoso goes forth from his house an emigrant to God and His Messenger, and then death overtakes him, his wage shall have fallen on God; surely God is All-forgiving, All-compassionate.
اور جو کوئی راہِ خدا میں ہجرت کرے گا۔ وہ زمین میں بہت ہجرت گاہ، جائے پناہ اور بڑی کشائش پائے گا۔ اور جو شخص اپنے گھر سے خدا اور رسول(ص) کی طرف ہجرت کے ارادہ سے نکلے پھر اسے موت آجائے، تو اس کا اجر و ثواب اللہ کے ذمہ ہوگیا۔ اور اللہ بڑا بخشنے والا، رحم کرنے والا ہے

And whoever emigrates for the cause of Allah will find on the earth many spacious locations; and whoever goes forth from his house as an emigrant to Allah and His Messenger and then death overtakes him, his reward is indeed with Allah and Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
اور جو کوئی اللہ کی راہ میں ہجرت کرے گا وہ زمین میں بہت سے ٹھکانے اور بڑی وسعت پائے گا اور جو شخص اپنے گھر سے اللہ اور اس کے رسول کی طرف ہجرت کر کے نکلے پھر اسے موت آ جائے تو اس کا اجر اللہ کے ذمہ ثابت ہو گیا۔ اللہ بہت بخشنے والا اور رحم فرمانے والا ہے

And whosoever migrateth in the way of Allah, shall find in the earth plentiful refuge and ampleness; and whosoever goes forth from his house as a fugitive unto Allah and His apostle, and death then overtaketh him his hire hath surely devolved upon Allah, and Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful.
اور جو شخص خدا کی راہ میں گھر بار چھوڑ جائے وہ زمین میں بہت سی جگہ اور کشائش پائے گا اور جو شخص خدا اور رسول کی طرف ہجرت کرکے گھر سے نکل جائے پھر اس کو موت آپکڑے تو اس کا ثواب خدا کے ذمے ہوچکا اور خدا بخشنے والا اور مہربان ہے

He who emigrates in the way of Allah will find in the earth enough room for refuge and plentiful resources. And he who goes forth from his house as a migrant in the way of Allah and His Messenger, and whom death overtakes, his reward becomes incumbent on Allah. Surely Allah is All-Forgiving, All-Compassionate.
اور جو اللہ کی راہ میں گھر بار چھوڑ کر نکلے گا وہ زمین میں بہت جگہ اور گنجائش پائے گا، اور جو اپنے گھر سے نکلا اللہ و رسول کی طرف ہجرت کرتا پھر اسے موت نے آلیا تو اس کا ثواب اللہ کے ذمہ پر ہوگیا اور اللہ بخشنے والا مہربان ہے

And whoever migrates in Allah's way, will find in the earth many hardships and abundant resources, and whoever goes forth from his house migrating to Allah and His Messenger, and then death overtakes him, his reward is indeed with Allah and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.".
اور جو اللہ کی راہ میں ہجرت کرے تو وہ زمین میں(دشمن کو) نامراد کرنے کے بہت سے مواقع اور فراخی پائے گا۔ اور جو اپنے گھر سے اللہ اور اس کے رسول کی طرف ہجرت کرتے ہوئے نکلتا ہے پھر(اس حالت میں) اسے موت آ جاتی ہے تو اُس کا اجر اللہ پر فرض ہوگیا ہے۔ اور اللہ بہت بخشنے والا(اور) باربار رحم کرنے والا ہے
