آپ نے جو معنیٰ لیا وہ ہے

So there shall be no covenant between me and thee.
مجھ میں اور تجھ میں نہیں کچھ بھی تمیز

آپ ان کو کتاب اور حکمت کی تعلیم دیتے تھے‘‘

Then said Yeshu to him,"Away with thee, Satan!
پھر یسوع نے پطرس سے کہا،“ اے شیطان یہاں سے دور ہوجا!

And what shall teach thee what is the Day of Doom?
اور آپ نے کیا سمجھا کہ روزِ جزا کیا ہے،?

But thee We only sent to give glad tidings and admonition.
اور ہم نے(اے محمدﷺ) تم کو صرف خوشی اور عذاب کی خبر سنانے کو بھیجا ہے

Verily We! it is We Who have revealed Unto thee the Qur'an, a gradual revelation.
بیشک ہم نے تم پر قرآن بتدریج اتارا

But for Thee, I would have not created the heavens.".
اگرمیں آپ کو پیدا نہ فرماتا توافلاک کو پیدا نہ فرماتا-‘

Verily We! it is We Who have revealed Unto thee the Qur'an, a gradual revelation.
بےشک ہم نےہی آپ پر یہ قرآن تھوڑا تھوڑا اتارا ہے

I see thee and thy folk in error manifest.
میں تو تمہیں اور تمہاری قوم کو کھلی گمراہی میں دیکھتا ہوں

Verily We! it is We Who have revealed Unto thee the Qur'an, a gradual revelation.
بے شک ہم نے آپ پر قرآن تھوڑا تھوڑا کر کے نازل فرمایا ہے

But for Thee, I would have not created the heavens.".
اگر میں آپ کو پیدا نہ فرماتا تو دنیا کی کوئی چیز نہ بناتا-‘

Should they intend to deceive thee, Verily God sufficeth thee.
اور اگر وہ چاہیں کہ تجھ کو دغا دیں تو تُجھ کو بس(کافی) ہے اﷲ

May he send thee help from the sanctuary: and defend thee out of Sion!
وہ مقدِس سے تیرے لئے کمک بھیجے اور صیّون سے تجھے تقویت بخشے!

And if they desire to deceive thee, then God shall suffice thee.
اور اگر وہ چاہیں کہ تجھ کو دغا دیں تو تُجھ کو بس(کافی) ہے اﷲ

Grant me from Thee good offspring; surely Thou art the Hearer of prayer.”.
مجھے اپنے پاس سے پاکیزه اولاد عطا فرما، بے شک تو دعا کا سننے والا ہے

And what will make thee know whatsoever the record in Sijjin is?
اور آپ نے کیا جانا کہ سجین کیا ہے،?

For it will cost thee much worldly wealth and position.
کچھ دردسری اور خرچ سے آپ کا مال برآمد ہوجائے گا

Again, what shall make thee know whatsoever the Day of Requital is?
پھر آپ نے کیا جانا کہ روزِ جزا کیا ہے،?

And we have brought unto thee the truth, and verily we say sooth.
اور ہم آپ کے پاس حق(کا فیصلہ) لے کر آئے ہیں اور ہم یقیناً سچے ہیں

O Prophet, God suffices thee, and the believers who follow thee.
اے نبی! آپ کے لئے اللہ اور وہ اہلِ ایمان کافی ہیں جو آپ کے پیروکار ہیں
