For it is the stainer and the total veil: Nay, rather, it stains their hearts, what they have acquired; they will be on that day veiled from their Lord.
ترجمہ۔ سچ تو یہ ہے کہ ان کے قلوب ان کے اعمال(بد) کی وجہ سے جو انہوں نے کئے ہیں، زنگ آلود ہیں سچ تو یہ ہے کہ بے شک اس دن وہ اپنے پروردگار سے حجاب میں ہوں گے

They say,'Our hearts are veiled from that to which you call us.
اور کہتے ہیں ہمارے دل غلاف میں ہیں اس بات سے، جس طرف تو ہم کو بلاتا ہے

اور جن لوگوں نے بُرائیاں کمائیں ان کی بُرائی جیسی ہے ویسا ہی وہ بدلہ پائیں گے، ذلّت ان پر مسلّط ہو گی، کوئی اللہ سے ان کو بچانے والا نہ ہو گا، ان کے چہروں پر ایسی تاریکی چھائی ہوئی ہو گی جیسے رات کے سیاہ پردے ان پر پڑے ہوئے ہوں، وہ دوزخ کے مستحق ہیں جہاں وہ ہمیشہ رہیں گے

And thou wilt see them exposed to(the Fire), made humble by disgrace, and looking with veiled eyes. And those who believe will say: Lo! the(eternal) losers are they who lose themselves and their housefolk on the Day of Resurrection. Lo! are not the wrong-doers in perpetual torment?
اور تم انہیں دیکھو گے کہ آگ پر پیش کیے جاتے ہیں ذلت سے دبے لچے چھپی نگاہوں دیکھتے ہیں اور ایمان والے کہیں گے بیشک ہار(نقصان) میں وہ ہیں جو اپنی جانیں اور اپنے گھر والے ہار بیٹھے قیامت کے دن سنتے ہو بیشک ظالم ہمیشہ کے عذاب میں ہیں،?

Have you seen the one who has chosen his desires as his lord? God has knowingly caused him to go astray, sealed his ears and heart and veiled his vision. Who besides God can guide him? Will they, then, not take heed?
بھلا آپ نے اس کو بھی دیکھا جو اپنی خواہش کا بندہ بن گیا اور الله نے باوجود سمجھ کے اسے گمراہ کر دیا اور اس کے کان اور دل پر مہر کر دی اور اس کی آنکھوں پر پردہ ڈال دیا پھر الله کے بعد اسے کون ہدایت کر سکتا ہے پھر تم کیوں نہیں سمجھتے?

And thou wilt see them exposed to(the Fire), made humble by disgrace, and looking with veiled eyes. And those who believe will say: Lo! the(eternal) losers are they who lose themselves and their housefolk on the Day of Resurrection. Lo! are not the wrong-doers in perpetual torment?
اور تم انہیں دیکھو گے کہ جب وہ دوزخ کے سامنے پیش کئے جائیں گے تو ذلت سے جھکے ہوئے ہوں گے(اور) کنکھیوں(چھپی نگاہ) سے دیکھتے ہوں گے اور اہلِ ایمان کہیں گے کہ حقیقی خسارہ اٹھا نے والے وہی لوگ ہیں جنہوں نے قیامت کے دن اپنے آپ کو اور اپنے اہل و عیال کو خسارہ میں ڈالا۔ آگاہ ہو کہ ظالم لوگ دائمی عذاب میں رہیں گے۔?
