اور مسلمانوں کی ایک جماعت اس کو گراں سمجھتی تھی۔ وہ اس حق کے بارے میں اس کے بعد کہ اس کا ظہور ہوگیا تھا، آپ سے اس طرح جھگڑ رہے تھے کہ گویا کوئی ان کو موت کی طرف ہانکا جا رہا ہے اور وہ دیکھ رہے ہیں۔

As your Lord sent you from your home(to fight) for the true cause, a section of the faithful were averse.
جیسے تیرے رب نے تیرے گھر سے سچائی کے ساتھ نکالا اور بے شک ایک جماعت مسلمانوں میں سے نا پسند کرنے والی تھی

(78)(Allah will tell them)“We sent towards you a divine code which was based on absolute truth; but most of you were averse to the truth(and opposed it).”.
بےشک ہم تمہارے پاس(دین) حقلے کر آئے مگر تم میں سے اکثر حق کو ناپسند کرتے رہے

They had already desired dissension before and had upset matters for you until the truth came and the ordinance of Allah appeared, while they were averse.
یہ پہلے بھی فساد کے طالب رہے ہیں اور بہت سی باتوں میں تمہارے لئےالٹ پھیر کرتے رہے ہیں یہاں تک کہ حق آ پہنچا اور الله کا حکم غالب ہوا اور وہ ناخوش ہی رہے

They certainly sought to cause sedition earlier, and upset the matters for you, until the truth came and Allah's command prevailed, much as they were averse.
بیشک انہوں نے پہلے ہی فتنہ چا ہا تھا اور اے محبوب! تمہارے لیے تدبیریں الٹی پلٹیں یہاں تک کہ حق آیا اور اللہ کا حکم ظاہر ہوا اور انہیں ناگوار تھا

یہ تو اس سے پہلے بھی فتنے کی تلاش کرتے رہے ہیں اور تیرے لئے کاموں کو الٹ پلٹ کرتے رہے ہیں، یہاں تک کہ حق آپہنچا اور اللہ کا حکم غالب آگیا باوجودیکہ وه ناخوشی میں ہی رہے

Therefore call upon Allah, being sincere to Him in obedience, though the unbelievers are averse.
تو اللہ کی بندگی کرو نرے اس کے بندے ہوکر پڑے برا مانیں کافر

That is because they are averse to that which Allah hath revealed, therefor maketh He their actions fruitless.
