The Committee also adopted one opinion on the merits andtwo negative opinions on admissibility regarding individual communications submitted in accordance with article 14 of the Convention.
Requests the secretariat to prepare the compilation andsynthesis of national communications submitted in accordance with decision 11/CP.4, for consideration by the Conference of the Parties at its eighth session.
The Government notes that the Optional Protocol serves to strengthen the implementation of the Convention within the jurisdiction of each State Party by giving the Committee the competence to receive and consider communications submitted in accordance with article 2 of the Protocol.
