It is very encouraging to see that there is engagement of children for the development and improvement of health care services through their periodic questioning.
At its meeting held in Vienna from 26 to 28 August 2013, the Open-ended Intergovernmental Working Group on the Prevention of Corruption addressed the topics of integrity in the judiciary, judicial administration, prosecution services and public education,in particular the engagement of children and young people and the role of mass media and the Internet, reaching a series of conclusions and recommendations.
The Act prohibits the engagement of children who have not attained the age of 14 years in any kind of labour work and prohibits the engagement of children in any"risky" business or work.
The secretariat presented the framework"Growing Together in a Changing Climate," a United Nations inter-agency cooperative effort led by the UNFCCC secretariat: The aim of this framework is to facilitate more effective coordination and implementation of initiatives and projects for children and youth in their countries,and greater engagement of children and young people in intergovernmental processes and related activities undertaken by the United Nations system.
However, the Act allows engagement of children above 14 years of age as labourers in non-hazardous works, subject to specific provisions on working hours and occupational safety.
August 2012 and from 26 to 28 August 2013, the Working Group discussed the following topics: conflicts of interest; reporting acts of corruption and asset declarations; implementation of article 12 of the United Nations Convention against Corruption, including the use of public-private partnerships; integrity in the judiciary, judicial administration and prosecution services; and public education,in particular the engagement of children and young people and the role of mass media and the Internet.

The Children's Climate Forum and the engagement of children in the Secretary-General's Summit on Climate Change on 22 September 2009 were UNICEF launching pads for broader youth engagement in climate change.
The reports on integrity in the judiciary, judicial administration and prosecution services(article 11 of the United Nations Convention against Corruption)(CAC/COSP/WG.4/2013/2) and on public education,in particular the engagement of children and young people and the role of mass media and the Internet(article 13 of the United Nations Convention against Corruption)(CAC/COSP/WG.4/2013/3), had been prepared on the basis of responses submitted by Member States following a request by the secretariat for information.
Considering that education is important to preventing the engagement of children in the worst forms of child labour, it encouraged the Government to continue pursuing its efforts to reduce the number of children dropping out of primary education and to provide information on the results achieved.
In recent years, emphasis has been placed on preventing the engagement of children and youth in armed conflict, as illustrated by the 119 ratified or acceded participants to the Optional Protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child on the involvement of youth and children in armed conflict.
