Lebanon, having joined the Middle East peace process that began at Madrid in 1991, reaffirms its commitment to a just, comprehensive and lasting peace in the region based on Security Council resolutions 242(1967), 338(1973) and 425(1978), in accordance with the framework for the peace process. .
