The Committee decided to recommend to the General Assembly that all chapters of the report of the Special Committee on the Situation with regard to the Implementation of the Declaration on the Granting of Independence to Colonial Countries and Peoples relating to specific Territories should be referred to the Special Political and Decolonization Committee(Fourth Committee), thereby enabling the General Assembly to deal in plenary meeting with the question of the implementation of the Declaration as a whole.
