To avoid conflicts, do not make changes to files in the replicated folder on non-primary members until initial replication completes.
When you make a replicated folder read-only, DFS Replication overwrites any content on the read-only member that has not yet replicated back to a read-write member.
For increased performance, the staging folder quota should be increased to the size of the four largest files in the replicated folder on spoke members and to the size of the sixteen largest files in the replicated folder on hub members.
In the Share andPublish Replicated Folder Wizard, click Share and publish the replicated folder in a namespace, and then follow the steps in the wizard.
In the details pane, on the Memberships tab, right-click the replicated folder on the member with the quota that you want to edit, and then click Properties.
To move the replicated folder between nodes, create a shared folder for the replicated folder, or perform other cluster administration tasks, use the Failover Cluster Manager snap-in.
To view disconnected members,select a replicated folder from the Replicated folder list, and then expand the Disconnected Members.
After the initialization of the replicated folder, when all existing files in the replicated folder are added to the DFS Replication database, the primary member designation is removed.
If folders will be shared as part of the Share and Publish Replicated Folder Wizard, you must also be a member of the local Administrators group on the servers where each folder is shared.
