In conformity with this Regulation the national standardization bodies- CEN/CENELEC members.
They must be accompanied by an animal health certificate issued by an official veterinarian certifying that they have been produced in conformity with this Regulation.
Where an approval authority finds that a vehicle, system, component orseparate technical unit is not in conformity with this Regulation, it shall notify the Commission and the other Member States without delay.
The national regulatory authorities may impose information requirements additional to those referred to in paragraphs 1 and2 where they are necessary to ensure conformity with this Regulation.
Where a distributor has reason to believe or considers that an engine is not in conformity with this Regulation, it shall not make the engine available on the market until it has been brought into conformity. .

Community institutions andbodies shall ensure that processing operations already under way on the date this Regulation enters into force are brought into conformity with this Regulation within one year of that date.

Without prejudice to paragraphs 1 and2, by way of derogation from Article 180 of Regulation(EC) No 1234/2007(*) and Article 3 of Regulation(EC) No 1184/2006(**), Articles 87,88 and 89 of the Treaty shall not apply to payments made under Articles 4 and 7 by Member States in conformity with this Regulation.
A cosmetic product which they have made available on the market is not in conformity with this Regulation, they shall make sure that the corrective measures necessary to bring that product into conformity, withdraw it or recall it, as appropriate, are taken.
Part of the quality management system shall be procedures ensuring that the distributor or importer is informed of any corrective action taken by the manufacturer in relation to the device in question in order torespond to safety issues or to bring it in conformity with this Regulation.
Notwithstanding paragraph 1, a manufacturer shall not be required to take corrective measures in respect of an engine which is not in conformity with this Regulation as a result of modifications made after it has been placed on the market and that were not authorised by the manufacturer.
On the other hand, paragraph 2 of Article 38 states that“Member States may adopt national measures concerning matters not specifically harmonised by this Regulation provided that they do not prohibit, impede orrestrict the free movement of goods that are in conformity with this Regulation”.
Responsible persons who consider orhave reason to believe that a cosmetic product which they have placed on the market is not in conformity with this Regulation shall immediately take the corrective measures necessary to bring that product into conformity, withdraw it or recall it.
Without prejudice to paragraphs 1 and 2, by way of derogation from Article 180 of Regulation(EC) No 1234/2007(*) and Article 3 of Regulation(EC) No 1184/2006(**), Articles 87, 88 and 89 of the Treaty shall not apply to payments made under Title III,paragraph 3 of this Article and Articles 17 and 21 by Member States in conformity with this Regulation.
The granting of authorisation and any other measures in conformity with this Regulation shall be without prejudice to general civil and criminal liability in the Member States of the producer and, where applicable, of the person responsible for placing the plant protection product on the market or using it.
A Member State which has granted EEC type approval shall withdraw such approval if the recording equipment orrecord sheet which has been approved is not in conformity with this Regulation or its Annexes or displays in use any general defect which makes it unsuitable for the purpose for which it is intended.
An electronic document sent orissued by an institution in conformity with this Regulation and the Implementing Regulation may not be rejected by any authority or institution of another Member State on the grounds that it was received by electronic means, once the receiving institution has declared that it can receive electronic documents.
A Member State which has granted type-approval shall withdraw such approval if the vehicle unit, motion sensor, record sheet ortachograph card which has been approved is not in conformity with this Regulation or if it displays any general defect during use which makes it unsuitable for the purpose for which it is intended.
Fully refurbishing', for the purposes of the definition of manufacturer, means the complete rebuilding of a device already placed on the market or put into service, orthe making of a new device from used devices, to bring it into conformity with this Regulation, combined with the assignment of a new lifetime to the refurbished device;
The distributor shall inform the manufacturer or the manufacturer's representative if it has reason to believe orconsiders that an engine which it has made available on the market is not in conformity with this Regulation, to ensure that the corrective measures necessary to bring the engines in production into conformity with the approved engine type or engine family are taken in accordance with Article 9 or 12.
Following notification under paragraph 2 by a prospective member, the Member State concerned shall, taking into account its constitutional structure, approve the prospective member's participation in the EGTC,unless it considers that such participation is not in conformity with this Regulation or national law, including the prospective member's powers and duties, or that such participation is not justified for reasons of public interest or of public policy of that Member State.
Relevant and well-founded opposition“ means an opposition to a draft decision as to whether there has been an infringement of this Regulation or whether the measures envisagedagainst the controller or the processor are in conformity with this Regulation, clearly indicating the scope of the risks posed by the draft decision in relation to the fundamental rights and freedoms of data subjects and, where appropriate, the free movement of personal data within the Union;
The manufacturer shall submit to the approval authority which granted the EU type-approval a list containing the number of engines for each engine type andengine sub-category produced in accordance with this Regulation and in conformity with the EU type-approval since the last production report was submitted, or since the requirements of this Regulation first became applicable.
