Responsible for supervisory tasks in the designating Member State.
To supervise qualified trust service providers established in the territory of the designating Member State to ensure, through ex ante and ex post supervisory activities, that those qualified trust service providers and the qualified trust services that they provide meet the requirements laid down in this Regulation;(b).
That body shall be responsible for supervisory tasks in the designating Member State.
All other costs that arise in connection with the designation of liaison officers shall be borne by the designating Member State, including the costs of equipment for liaison officers, unless the budgetary authority decides otherwise on the recommendation of the Management Board.
Except as otherwise laid down in this Regulation,the liaison officers shall be subject to the national law of the designating Member State.

Member States shall designate an appropriate supervisory body established in their territory or, upon mutual agreement, in another Member State under the responsibility of the designating Member State. .

Liaison officers shall constitute the national liaisonbureaux at Europol and shall be instructed by their National Units within Europol in accordance with the national law of the designating Member State and the provisions applicable to the administration of Europol.
Since the notified body always has to carry out its assessment functions within the jurisdiction of the designating Member State, it has to inform the notifying authority, which must be capable of ensuring the monitoring of the total body as it has to take the responsibility for its operations.
Liaison officers shall constitute the national liaison bureaux at Europol andshall be instructed by their National Units within Europol in accordance with the national law of the designating Member State and the provisions applicable to the administration of Europol.
To take action if necessary,in relation to non-qualified trust service providers established in the territory of the designating Member State, through ex post supervisory activities, when informed that those non-qualified trust service providers or the trust services they provide allegedly do not meet the requirements laid down in this Regulation.
Each Member State shall designate one or more national cybersecurity certification authorities in its territory or, with the agreement of another Member State, shall designate one ormore national cybersecurity certification authorities established in that other Member State to be responsible for the supervisory tasks in the designating Member State.

For a selected number of substances, a designated Member State carries out a more in-depth evaluation.
The designated Member State performs the substance evaluation and, if necessary, prepares a draft decision within one year of the publication of the CoRAP.
