The programme of workwill be implemented through specific activities under each sub-theme.

Sub-theme 3 consists of two sub-sub-themes: land vulnerability assessment by field survey, and physiological and ecological assessment of soil degradation.

At the regional level, the theme of the fourth session of the African Ministerial Conference on Housing and Urban Development(AMCHUD), held in Nairobi in 2012,was" Territorial planning and access to basic services for all", with a sub-theme on the implications of climate change.
This will be done by theme, sub-theme or for related groups of variables, and will be broken down by conceptual dimension(definition, classification, calculation methods for indicators) for each data collection instrument.
One of the three thematic sessions of the conference, which was attended by the representatives of 119 Governments and a hostof international organizations and civil society organizations, was held under the sub-theme of" Partnership and participation in poverty reduction and attainment of the United Nations Millennium Development Goals".

Welcomes the measures taken so far inthe implementation of the Accra Accord, including sub-theme 4, inter alia, through the creation of the Accra Accord Steering Group, and encourages the secretariat to continue its efforts in this connection and to keep member States informed on further steps in this regard on a regular basis.
The sub-theme must address the various cross-cutting issues, for example: the developmental requirements of Least Developed Countries, as well as other groups of countries with special needs; the on-going financial crisis: intellectual property: commodities; food security; and energy security.
Activity 5(Socio-economic information) under sub-theme A(v) refers to a wide set of socio-economic information, including specific information for developing socioeconomic scenarios, assessing of vulnerability, and costing adaptation;
