The Council adopted a regulation laying down procedures for the adoption of detailed rules for the implementation of certain provisions of both agreements.

As explained in the evaluation report(point 3.2)the lack of sufficiently detailed statistical data hinders the assessment of the implementation of certain provisions.

In order to facilitate the implementation of certain provisions of the Agreement, the Commission should be allowed to make the necessary technical adjustments in accordance with the procedure laid down in Article 75 of Council Regulation(EC) No 1493/1999 of 17 May 1999 on the common organisation of the market in wine3.
