United Nations General Assembly Task Force to establish a Regular Process for a Global Marine Assessment.
It is proposed to establish a regular process of environmental assessment in the pan-European region based on the four components presented in sections A-D below.
Based on the findings of the Assessment of Assessments,it is expected that Ministers at Astana will decide to establish a regular process of environmental assessment and to develop SEIS across the region.
Contributing to efforts to establish a regular process for reporting on and assessing the state of the marine environment, as called for in the Plan of Implementation of the World Summit;
