In that regard, special mention should be made of support for the creation of central authorities to deal with requests for international cooperation andspecial units for the implementation of the universal instruments against terrorism, in particular the strengthening of international cooperation arrangements.
A regional ministerial conference of French-speaking countries of Africa for the ratification and implementation of the universal instruments against terrorism and the United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime and the United Nations Convention against Corruption(General Assembly resolution 58/4, annex) was held in Port-Louis from 25 to 27 October 2004.
